Stapert Home Improvements LLCStapert Home Improvements did a fantastic job from the time Jim gave an estimate to the time the job was completed. I recently had hardwood floors laid that replaced tile so the door casings were too short. Jim was able to come to the house on June 24 and look at what I needed. He also gave recommendations on a problem area I had at my front door. His estimate came in a very timely manner and was reasonable, June 29th. I had told Jim that I was not in a super hurry but needed to get the job done before my daughter's wedding at the beginning of December. He assured me that he would make it work. In fact, he completed the job on July 21 to my satisfaction! Jim's coworkers were fantastic as well. The team covered the floor to install the trim; they used the saw outside and when they were done, you couldn't even tell they had been here. I will be replacing my banister next year and I will definitely be calling Stapert!- Carol L.

Garage Doors of IndianapolisI was very impressed with Garage Doors. From the initial call to set up service to the service technician, everything was courteous, professional and the price was reasonable. I left at 7am for an appointment, could not get back into my garage at 11 and by 2:30 pm the same day the door was fixed. The technician took one look at the door and immediately realized what was needed and was at my home less than one hour. He also checked the overall health of the door and confirmed that it was in good shape and I should be fine going forward. It was a great relief, other providers either wanted an overtime premium charge for coming on a Saturday or they could not be able to come until Monday. I highly recommend!- BETTY G.

Beware. Grant completely abandoned the project after he had started it. He broke off contact. Never returned texts, calls or emails. No explanation offered. He was paid for the work he did. He botched the risers on the staircase and new material had to be ordered. He said he'd cover the cost since it was his error. To date, that money has not been refunded. Litigation will ensue if the money is not returned. The work that he did was subpar. He left errors for me (the owner) to point out rather than correcting the errors based on his knowledge. His goal as a "finish carpenter" should have been excellence, but instead left me (the homeowner) with work that is borderline acceptable but most definitely NOT excellent.

The project went very well, and our teens now have the best bathroom in the house. We went from a pink tiled bath with an old, single sink vanity (pink, also), pink tub and pink toilet to an updated bath with a separate toilet / bath area, plenty of built in storage, and two sink areas. Tom has done many projects for us and all have been above expectations. Tom is great about making sure the details are done right. I had specific ideas about what I wanted in this bath project, and they were executed flawlessly.

We chose Brad because we have worked with him several times previously. He has always exhibited the exemplary qualities we report in connection with this job. In fact, we trust his character and the quality of his work to such a degree that we did not seek a second estimate on this project. Brad was excellent in all respects. He responded quickly to our initial expression of interest. He prepared a prospectus that gave us several options with respect to specific parts of the project. He was honest about when he could actually begin work. His presence in our home was as unobtrusive as it could be and his work left almost no extra clean up for us along the way or at the end. He kept us fully informed as to developments, questions, and issues. When we wanted to make minor changes along the way, he was adaptable. Best of all, his work is superb. Brad is a perfectionist who likes for everything to be just right. He takes great care. In the end, we got exactly the room we wanted in the confidence that he had given optimum attention to every part of the job. The job included adding additional insulation throughout the third floor, replacing the windows, redoing the walls with fresh drywall, installing additional lighting and electrical outlets, sanding and finishing the original attic flooring, replacing all the trim, and painting. A room which had felt like a dim junk storage locker is now a bright, airy, light study and library.

The workmen arrived on time, and carefully prepared the work area with cloths. They were very polite, knowledgeable and took time to professionally answer all my questions. They cleaned up perfectly when they left and asked if there was anything else that I needed. The new attic access stairs was installed properly and functions as designed. Kurt Workman suggested I put in a new, insulated ladder and I am so glad I did. The new ladder is well insulated keeping the opening properly closed and it operates very well . I am so pleased. Kurt Workman, Randy and Isaac worked hard and did notwaste time. I've used Workman Services before and have found the company to do the highest quality work for a really great and fair price.
