Excellent workmanship. Good quality and clean removal of old decking and replacement with new decking and railing. The gate was replaced with a heavier gate that needed to be supported with a wheel. Be sure to discuss this before installation. Deck looks great after two years, easy to clean. Would definitely recommend Freeborne Decking.

We had our old wood deck replaced with composite decking. My inquiry was responded to within a day and we had our estimate date set. Tom was our design consultant and he explained all our options, took measurements and gave us an estimate. Within a day, I received an email with a 3-D rendering of our project, with all the details. On the day of installation, the crew arrived at 7am right on schedule! They immediately began removing and clearing the old deck and hauled it all away. Within 20 minutes it was completely gone and they began construction on the new deck. By 12:30 pm, the new deck was complete! The crew was fantastic, professional and cleaned up after themselves. The new deck is beautiful and we couldn't be happier with the whole process!

Long Island Decking replaced our old wood deck with a Trex. From inception when the estimate was provided, to assisting with the type and color of the deck, railing and lighting, they were fantastic, courteous and professional. During the demolition phase of the old deck, the construction of the new frame and deck, they demonstrated a commitment to their craft resulting in a beautiful new deck. Finally, the communication with Long Island Decking was excellent throughout the entre process. We HIGHLY recommend Long Island Decking!

So happy we took Jay’s advise with replacing the entire deck which was approximately 30 years old. While demo found 3 supporting posts rotted at the ground. Another registered Trex installer told us we could reface the deck, it would be fine! Thankfully we went with L.I. Decking!! Jay and his team were respectful, punctual and the clean up was on point. Didn’t even know work was in our yard except for seeing our beautiful new deck. Thanks again Jay!!!

Deck Guardians was really responsive and professional even before the work began. We got four price quotes before choosing a deck builder because ours was a large deck, lots of materials and labor. Deck Guardians was the most reasonable and was transparent about the cost of materials -vs- labor. There were a lot of "moving pieces" with my job because we had a pool install, hardscaping, electrical and plumbing. Deck Guardians worked well with our other contractors to make sure they were not interfering with each other's work. The crew that did the work were real craftsmen with a great eye for detail. They communicated with me every day regarding the status of the project and didn't hesitate to ask me about how I wanted certain details. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the way the deck looked. I'm very pleased with how the project turned out. I'm confident that Deck Guardians will honor their warranty should that ever come up. I heartily recommend them for any new or resurfacing deck project!
