Cincinnati Water Treatment System Repair

I cannot praise this company enough for the work they did for me. My water was HARSH before the Water Max system was installed. Now I have bottled water coming from my tap. Yes the system is expensive, but I would NOT go back to the water I had before the system was installed. They are a prompt and professional company.

Everything went fine. The owner is Mike Felch, he came out and he gave us a deal on a unit that was appropriate for the size of our house and didn’t try to sell us that was, like, commercial-grade. Then an employee came out a few days later and he installed it. He called back to make sure everything was working fine and everything is working great.

Contacted Dan and provided him job details through internet including pictures to help with estimate. Dan provided fair pricing as well and help to reduce cost. Robert did most of the installation. Both gentlemen were very professional and courteous. Job was completed to our satisfaction. I would recommend them to others.

We had Royal Water install a Hague Watermax Softener in our new home. We had one in our last home and it was a great water treatment system. The new model has done the same magic in our new home. Only slight negative in the whole process has it has more than doubled in price in the last 15 years. That did not stop us, but it was a surprise.

Mr. Phelps, owner of Olympic Water Treatment, met with me within a week of my phone call. Thirteen years previously he represented RainSoft but Mr. Phelps parted ways with Rainsoft as they made it difficult to obtain parts and provide service for Mr. Phelps existing customers. I explained what I wanted and he presented what Hellenbrand had to offer. He gave a thorough explanation of the Hellenbrand. Since he has tested the hardness of my water previously he did not do it again. He is familiar with Warren County's water and has an excellent background for making the correct recommendation. He committed his company, Olympic Water Treatment, to meeting any service needs in regards to this new softener Once I accepted the bid an installation date and time was setup. Mr. Phelps accompanied the installer and assisted when needed. The installer (Mr. Phelps' son who will be managing the company in the future) did all the plumbing and installation. They made sure the system was level, functioned correctly, and added the salt blocks from my old softener. (The Hellenbrand softener will use bags of salt pellets when it comes time to add new salt. I was provided with four bags.) The old RainSoft softener was removed. There was no mess. I was trained in the operation (of which there is little) and all my questions were answered. After three weeks of use, the Hellenbrand softener electronic controls do not require management and has cut down on regenerations. I believe the quality is excellent. There is no salt taste in the water. I do not have to give it any attention. New salt will need to be added to the salt tank for regeneration months from now. I am very happy with this product and would recommend Olympic Water Treatment.

The company was great! The owner (family business) came out promptly to give estimate and see what installation was necessary. The were able to install the units and give detailed information as to what was done. Then they explained what further attention would be required to keep the units operating efficiently! The company also services their equipment yearly. They had terrific customer service. I highly recommend!

One month after the new filter was installed, we discovered a water leak under the kitchen sink coming from the water filter. We had been unaware of the leak, since up until that time the water leak had been confined to the back of the shelf under the sink with the water finding its way to the spare bedroom on our lower level under the kitchen. We spoke with the owner of Tri-State Waterworks the next day. He claimed NO responsibility for the damage he said because he had not charged us labor for installing the replacement filter, which he said was just a courtesy. We challenged that, saying that if any compnay causes extensive damage in a customer's home, it would seem that they have to be responsible. He refused to look at the filter or the damage. We contacted a new water treatment service from Angie's List, and the owner with 24 years experience determined that the leak had come from a quick-disconnect fitting on the in-line filter and that the water line had not been pushed in past the second O-ring in the fitting to prevent leakage. He checked our water pressure, which not abnormally high, and concluded that the technician who installed the filter had not secured the water line past the second O-ring and must not have waited about 10 minutes after the water was turned back on to check that there was no leak. The damages incurred from the water leak amounted to over $7,000!
