Allstate serviced the septic for the previous owner when we requested it be done before we bought the house. They told us about the system when we called for some general use information and responded to check the system and pump it out. On our first call we spoke with Don, the owner who was very helpful and informative and I believe the gentleman who came out was his son in law. He told us our motor was not new but was working fine and should continue for some years if properly maintained and serviced. When the system seized up they responded promptly and then replaced the motor and put in new bags (2006).

They said my pump was burnt out. I bought a new motor. My timer was also very old and I should get a new timer with the new motor. He suggested I get new, but did not state I had to. They pumped out the retaining tank. They also blew out the line, because it help it from backing up.
