Alex MasonryAlex and his crew were fantastic. They were on time, worked very hard and each day they left the site completely cleaned up, including the driveway where they mixed the concrete. They were complete professionals! I had a few small additional things I wanted him to do and he did them without any new charges. Prior to having Alex install the drains and do the other repairs we would always have water coming into our basement, sometimes substantial amounts of water. It has now been about a month since he did the job and we have had two big rain storms and our basement is completely dry thanks to Alex's great work. Alex is very easy to work with and has an old school work ethic, and there were no surprises or over charges. He's a straight shooter. I will be having Alex do more work for us next spring. Rosado Custom RemodelersWe were looking for a contractor to handle some home improvement projects and my wife came across Pro Home Builders through a Google search. We had Victor Rosado over to discuss our projects and were immediately impressed with his depth of knowledge, practical advice, and friendly, patient, and straightforward manner. The budget was reasonable and we went ahead with it. The Pro Home Builders crew was here every day with carpenters, plumbers, and electricians showing up like clockwork to perform their respective tasks as needed. There were no down days and no wasted time. Victor came by at least once daily to oversee everything, check progress, and confer with us. We were so impressed with the way he ran things and the skill of his team that we asked them to go ahead with some additional projects that we had intended to put off. Everything was completed within the budget and schedule Victor had laid out and we are very pleased with the quality of the work. Started within 48 hours of notice to proceed, estimated 1 month of work, completed in less than 3 weeks even with requested extras. Owner checked the job progress at least once a day and when he was dissatisfied with some minor issues (which we didn't notice) he had his men do the work over again. He held his price and was reasonable on requested and required extras. We have recommended him to others who have also been pleased with his work. He is detailed, conscientious, accurate and accommodating. This wasn't an easy or straightforward project (building had to be supported while demolition was performed) and it went very smoothly. The consultation went great. Cary came out and spent about an hour measuring and evaluating our basement. He left me with a quote the same day as well as my options. Although a little pricey we decided to go for it. The guys came out a few weeks later to insulate and were here all day. No issues there. However, the basement has not warmed up since and we spent quite a bit of money and were told it would be about 60-65° down there. It only increased by maybe 5° and still isn’t even close to 60/65°. I emailed the guy Cary who came out and was told he’d talk to his guys about it. No response. I had to follow up. Then he said he’d send someone out. Never got a call or anything to schedule it. Again I had to reach out. Weeks later he finally said he’d come out on 3/18/21 at noon. It’s now almost 1pm and he’s still not here. Their service was great when they wanted our money but now that we have paid, it seems we are not longer a priority and they don’t care to come fix whatever the problem may be. Very disappointing. We spent thousands of dollars and our basement still feels very cold!

The team was very detailed when I called about my situation (foundation crack from top to bottom with some water coming out). They explained how they would handle it, how long it took and payment. Same result when they were onsite and explained if the issue persists they would come back to rectify it, plus provided a ten year guarantee for their work.

I found this company to be very responsive to phone calls and questions. The 2 guys they sent to do the job were extremely nice and actually had to do more work than expected but were patient and did a good job and they too were happy to answer any of my questions and explained everything about the operation of the doors very clearly. The new cellar doors replaced old rusted ones and certainly improved the appearance of the house. I would recommend this company.
