Name should be changed to "NOT" 24/7. Called Friday. . . no one available until Monday, and then recommends two companies that don't work weekends. Thanks for NOTHING!

Midway Services Inc
Halloween night we were getting ready for bed and had our toilets back up with some water coming up in both tubs as well. First time this happened for us in our new house so we were very concerned. Needed problem diagnosed and fixed, preferrably before we went to bed so we could use our bathrooms in the morning. When we called Midway they said it would less expensive to wait until morning since it was after 11PM on a Sunday/Holiday night. We preferred to have someone come out that night and they said no problem. Stuart arrived just before Midnight. Once we explained the problem he knew exactly what the issue was and gave us an estimate to clear a bockage in our main line. There was a $100.00 diagnostic fee which they waived. He snaked out the line from an access behind our house and within a short time had it cleared. He couldn't find what was blocking it but suspected tree roots from a large oak tree nearby. He said it if happens again they can come back and run a camera to verify. It's been several months since then and it still works fine.

I called Bayside just after close of business upon discovering a significant water leak from the a/c. They told me they could come out, and detailed the pricing structure for me on the phone. They promised to be out before 10pm (which was fine). The technician Chris arrived at about 9:15, cleared the drain, cleaned the sensors, and gave the system a quick check to make sure everything was okay, explained what had happened, and gave me a few pointers along the way. He was very professional and clearly knew exactly what to do. I will use them again.

Scotto Plumbing Services Inc
We had quite a bit of landscaping & other home improvement jobs recently, along with a new air conditioner. Somewhere along the line an old a/c return line was broken. It was no longer used & had previously been capped off. We discovered it was broken one evening half-buried in some mulch & a substantial stream of water was coming out. We opted to pay the emergency service call rate & someone was on site within an hour at 8 pm & quickly capped the line, burying it so it would be unlikely to break again. Despite the emergency call rate, the price was still very reasonable. Part of the reason was because we are return customers, & we will continue to use them again in the future.

My water heater broke suddenly and water flooded my garage. I contacted Apollo Plumbing after hours but they still had someone at my house that next morning. Last month I needed an after hours emergency repair at my rental homes. Olin Plumbing was quick to respond and fixed the issue quickly and fairly priced. I have also used them twice at my current residence. They were also quick to respond and very easy to work with. Price was fair and the service was wonderful. Jay came out on an emergency call after hours to snake our sewer drain. We have some inherent problems with our sewer system and occasionally we need to clear the lines. Jay is always courteous and professional, even when on a call late in the evening or on a weekend. I think dedicated, honest plumbers who care about their clients are a rare breed, and it is a thankless job. I appreciate Jay's dedication to customer satisfaction, and his service is always above and beyond what would generally be expected. Personally, he's a good family man, and I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for good old fashioned high quality, 'real' customer service.

Services not rendered. Angie's list hours are listed as 8-12 on Sunday and that emergency services are available 24/7, as does their website. When I called at 8:15 am, the person that answered told me they had no people on call and were closed, and as I asked what their hours were on Monday, they hung up on me before I even finished the question. Very poor service and inaccurate information provided on availability in multiple places. If you are not open on your listed hours or do not offer 24/7 services, take it off your website.

Discovered a leaky hot water heater in the garage around 8:30 in the morning on Sunday of Labor Day weekend. Checked Angie's List and found Aqua Plumbing with 24 hour emergency service. Called and a tech called back within 10 minutes. Described problem and type of water heater. Derek checked stock and had a replacement at the warehouse. He said he could be at my home around 10:15. He was ahead of schedule. His manner was courteous and efficient. By 11 o'clock he had switched out the water heater and was on his way. They also honored their Angie's List coupon. Great service, great price, great courteous and professional installer. I was very happy with this company.

Recent Review: Very professional. I called after hours & received a call back stating that they would get in touch in the morning. They gave me the name of an emergency service if i needed help immediately. They called first thing the next morning & were out within 2 hours. The first person evaluated the situation. The second person arrived within an hour. Eventually a third person showed up to hep remove & replace the units. They were all polite, neat , efficient. We were informed about the work that needed to be done & approximate cost. I highly recommend them.

Recent Review: Wish there was a rating better than A. Could not have had a better experience!! My hot water heater sprang a leak late Friday night. There are many things I can live without but hot water is not one of them!! I called a couple of plumbers that were open on Saturday and offered emergency services. Johnny Doan was the only one that offered me an appointment that day. A little later they called back and moved the appointment up. My new hot water was installed by 2:00 PM that afternoon. The gentlemen that installed it was very professional and left everything in good order. Price was very fair for the service. Would use this firm again in a heart beat!!
