Started off with minor repairs. Then decided to do other services, Reframing bathroom door with the cheapest cra ever- still a 1 inch gap. Replaced ceiling drywall-as in tacking up a block - no setting or finishing edges. Baseboard in bed room- no bevels, corner point gaps filled with caulk. Nice job installing Styrofoam ceiling- but took them days- not hours. Metallic paint in bedroom applied wrong so tacky surface texture and had to redo spots just not done. Finally installed a door by caulking it on- seriously. When I finally realized what clowns they were it cost me thousands in re-do costs

One Call Renovation
I SHOULD HAVE TRIED TO NEGOTIATE THE PRICE DOWN BECAUSE I KNEW IT WAS TOO HIGH SEEING AS HOW I WAS PROVIDING THE CEILING TILES, BUT I WAS IN A HURRY AND JUST WANTED IT DONE. IT ONLY TOOK THEM ABOUT 45 MINUTES SO THEY MADE QUITE A BIT OF MONEY ON THIS JOB.

Jim's Small Stuff Handyman Service
I WAS FRUSTRATED WITH THE FACT THAT HE DID NOT COME OUT FOR AN ESTIMATE, BUT ASKED ABOUT THE TASKS BEFORE HE CAME. WHEN HE GOT HERE, HE WASN'T INTERESTED IN REPLACING PORCH SCREENS OR BASEMENT CEILING TILES. I ONLY GOT 15% OF THE WORK DONE.

Called on a Wednesday and handyman was over on following Monday, finished up work that Thursday. Did good quality work. I have to say, I was a bit disappointed with the hourly rate of $81.50, particularly for a job our size (no volume discount). This is the same as I paid a master electrician for some other work a few weeks ago. I guess I was envisioning a handyman doing work for somewhere around $50/hour. Shame on me for not asking and not seeking competitive bids, but we're in the end stages of getting the house ready for market so I didn't have the luxury of time to shop around. Cady is rated highly on Angie's List and they do a great job, just be aware you'll pay for it.

I had hired a contractor to help remodel a duplex. After a bad experience I started working with Dahl Mechanical. John and his team have done miracles. Open doorways and adjusted sinks for a handicapped client. They installed an automatic door as well. Some of the work John did included, hanging new light fixtures, installing ceiling fans, installing new flooring, installing tile, installing sink and sink fixtures. They updated a wooden ramp to make it more accessible and safe. Looked at my furnace, made an upgrade to my wiring, did cement work and even fixed the running toilets. John's knowledge has been a wonderful resource and they are always dependable, trustworthy and quick! I will continue to use his services and would hire them again and again.

We were extremely impressed with everything about this service. Ray and his son did a great job installing a bedroom ceiling fan. His son had to crawl up into a very hot attic with a hip roof on a 98 degree day and work in a very small space to install a new bracket for the ceiling fan. Ray was responsive (called me back immediately every time I called him), on time and very easy to work with. My husband said that Ray was very open to any suggestions from my husband and very easy going. We would have Ray and his team back any time and would highly recommend him. I'm not sure what happened with the few negative reviews, but we're sure glad we used him. Maybe he got overwhelmed with the sale/promotion and couldn't keep up? We didn't ask him about it.
