Excellent, this isn't just a job for Vanessa, I believe it is her passion. I have had three dogs receive the full "hair salon" treatment regularly (every 6 weeks for two dogs). And each time these dogs will prance around showing off their new look. They have never been hesitant or resistant to go to the "beauty parlor", one actually gets very excited. Vanessa has always been very professional and will tell me if there was anything unusual, such as a waxy ear, with the dogs. I cannot say enough positve words for the service she provides these animals and her cost is extremely reasonable. I would highly recommend Paws for Grooming service.

Matthew was originally hired to assist my nephew in preperation for the Parochial High School Admissions exam. Building a relationship with Matthew was the best thing for my nephew. Matthew was very safe going into this situation creating a trusting a environment. Not knowing what he was walking into, Matthew quickly learned that my nephew’s academic inabilities were far more important than preparing for an high school entrance exam. Immediately Matthew begin working on creating a plan of action. He is very patient, yet intentional about holding my nephew accountable. Moreover, he follows up and send reminders for my nephew (I.e. don’t forget to bring your book home from school, remember to work on your math). Although we have a long way to go, it’s safe to say that we are seeing some progress. Thanks Matthew.

I have a new puppy but lots of experience with vets when I was growing up with dogs. First, the positive. Our vet seems really great: compassionate and attentive in addition to being a skilled practitioner. Now the bad: some of the front office staff are insufferable. Example. I ordered heartworm medication from an online RX, which required vet approval. Approval was declined. I called to find out why. At first the office staff told me I ordered for the wrong weight range (too large for my puppy). I explained that my giant breed puppy was at the top end of the smaller weight dosing range last week (21.4 lbs, dosing range 11.1-22.0 lbs), so she will easily be in range next month. Staffer= insisted she had already canceled the order, and that I should order for the smaller weight range for which they have official record. I said that position was ridiculous; my giant breed dog has almost certainly already grown into the next dosing weight range (22.1-44 lbs) and asked to speak to the vet. Put on hold. Staffer came back to ask for my message. In short I said the instructions to purchase the smaller weight range were ridiculous. Hold. Staffer came back to tell me that the order had been canceled because my dog will outgrow the larger weight range I ordered within 6 months. Wait, what? First I am told that I need a smaller dose, then I am told the dose won't be large enough? Further, there is an easy remedy for if my dog does outgrow the weight range: double the dose. Looking at the concentrations of the active ingredients in the medication between the weight classes shows that they double. Easy fix to the possible problem. Did the staffer suggest it? Not at all. So my assessment is this: come for the vets but be aware that some of the front office staff should not be dealing with customers.

Recent Review:
Our dog Henry consumed a life threatening amount of dirt and rocks while at the doggie daycare program at Clark's Kennel. Staff did not notify us of his unusual behavior, and shortly upon getting him home we had to rush him to the vet for emergency care. He had consumed an abnormally large amount of dirt and rocks. He was hospitalized for possible obstruction. He fortunately did pass everything. We requested that Clark's Kennel reimburse us as we felt it was very neglectful on the part of staff to allow our dog to consume that amount of dirt but the owner claims all medical care and injuries are at the owners expense and refused to pay.

Recent Review:
When our dog was picked up, he could not pick up his head, get in the car, or climb stairs. My son returned home with him and said something is really wrong. He cried and could not sit comfortably or lift his head to look at us. We took him to the vet and she said he had a neck injury. Fortunately there appears to be no neurological damage and he was put on steroids and a pain medication. When contacting the owner, we were told he was fine. There was no apology or concern whatsoever.

PetSmartIt's been fine ,but had to reschedule a few times our family member was on hospice at our home for past year ,so upset groomer didn't want to do my dogs any more we had her for a few years she wouldn't even talk to us or understand our situation,that's not the way to do business very upsetting, spoke with manager nothing resolved ,they just lost three dogs getting groomed ,I would not recommend this place to anyone.- Dale and S.

Rock Creek Kennels, Inc.It was great - the price is comparable to other kennels I researched and I was impressed with the facility. My pup had a blast and the staff was great with her. The price of the grooming was a little more than I would typically pay, and I won't include it every time, but it was very convenient to pick her up nice and clean.- Katherine M.

Nails by MattI contacted Matt via his Facebook page. Even though it was late at night, he responded within the hour. He happened to have another appointment in my town the next day, so I we set up an appointment. He and his associate were right on time for the 6:45pm appointment. They came in and were able to wrangle my scaredy-cat cat in the bathroom where I had him contained. His associate picked up the cat and held him while Matt clipped his claws. They moved on to my second cat, who is usually a Jekyll/Hyde cat when she gets her claws clipped - sweet and quiet until the clippers come out. They were able to hold her and get her claws clipped quickly and easily. The third cat (after we found him) was a breeze after that! All three cats were done in less than 15 minutes, with a minimum of fuss or anxiety. The whole experience was quick, painless, and handled very professionally!- Caitlin B.
