Orlando Hardie Board Installation

Mark McGrath, the owner, came to my home and walk around the house and explained everything they do. He then provided an estimate just a few days later. The estimate was on the high side in the event plywood would need to be purchased as a backer. This was not necessary and the price was reduced. Everything that was explained was done to the letter. The entire job went flawlessly and it looks fantastic.

We couldn't even get a quote from this company. They sent out an "estimator" after hours and he proceeded to tell me that if my wife and I wouldn't sit down with him for 60-90 minutes, he wouldn't even give us a quote. What ever happened to people standing behind the price and the quality of their work? For some reason, this company thinks consumers have nothing better to do. They may do great work, but their business practices are SHADY!

They were very good to work with. I liked them. Their workmanship was really good. They were very flexible on the schedule that we needed. They were pretty responsive. The only complaint I would have would be that at the very end of everything, there was one item that we wanted to be resolved and never got it resolved but it wasn’t a big deal. The workers were excellent. They really knew their stuff. Everybody was licensed and that was one of the things that we liked. When Mark McGrath, the owner first stepped out, the first thing he showed us was the license. He was really straightforward with it all; it was really nice. We didn’t really shop around regarding the price; we weren’t unhappy with it. The quality of their work is good. The siding looks beautiful. We love it. We would use them again in the future if needed.

We bought our home mid 2012 understanding that improvements were needed not just inside, but out... specifically with the siding. The home was built with T1-11 type siding and over the years the condition became subpar due to lack of maintenance. After thoroughly researching our options we chose Hardy Board as a longlasting option; on the James Hardie website we found Creative Remodeling as a rep partner in the area and reached out to them for a quote. Our sales contact Brian was extremely professional and walked us through the entire process from quote to invoice... always taking the extra time necessary to ensure the project's was performed to our satisfaction. In addition the installers were timely, clean, and considerate. Bottom line the job was completed on time and on budget... couldn't ask for a better partnership. Val arrived exactly on time. after going over the projects, he got right to work. I really appreciated not having to schedule another day for the work to start after agreeing on the costs etc. He patched old exhaust vent holes in the concrete wall and deteriorated cinder block in the pool pump room. The biggest project was to replace some wood siding on the second story. We have a mansard roof with inset windows and the T1-11 siding below the windows had become rotted. Val replaced it all with Hardie Board cement board and painted it as well. I looks great and he handled a few unexpected situations very well. Val is a great guy. easy going and does great work. I was also impressed that Jeff the owner called to follow up on how the project went. I will use them again, no question about it.

Very slow. Original time estimate was 4 weeks, ran into some problems and expanded the job during the process which he was very good at dealing with that added about 2 weeks to the original contract, but entire job took 4 months. He had difficulties finding qualified workers so some of the workmanship is poor.

The project went incredibly well from start to finish. The salesman, Brian, was responsive, professional, and super easy to work with. Most notable are three things. Firstly, Brian nailed the estimate. When it came time to do the work, I never once received a change order or request for more more money. This is highly impressive on a project with so many variables and unpredictable obstacles. It isn't that obstacles didn't come up, it was that the crew just worked through them as they did. Secondly, the estimate was very reasonable. Fortunately, my house is literally a rectangular cube without much architectural interest. Nonetheless, I was happy with the price. Thirdly, the crew was awesome. A tight nit group of three guys who work incredibly well together. Add another guy to that crew, and he'd just be in the way. Anyone who has ever managed teams will appreciate the efficiency and good humor with which these guys work. They showed up on time every day. They worked while they were there. They asked questions when they had them. They tended to the details at the end of the project. They genuinely wanted things to go well and look great. And the result was better than I could have imagined. The house went from being an 80's stucco nightmare with rotting siding, to being a great little cottage-y looking place. For me, this was a big project. Plenty could have gone south. Nothing did. It's the kind of experience you hope for, but rarely have. I'd recommend these guys all day long.

Mark and his team were prompt, professional, and their workmanship was excellent. The scheduling was delayed due delivery delays with the door and weather. To ensure completion of the job in a timely manner, the painter, Adam worked long hours and weekend. The entire team kept the work area very clean and ensure my little dogs were not stressed out or in the area under construction.

From start to finish, excellent work!!! I was very impressed at the professionalism, work and time it took to have the job fully completed. Very knowledgeable in their trade and craft and turned this house, which was battered due to the Florida weather, into a beautiful home again.
