Based on an estimate they gave in 2020, Acculevel installed helical piers on the back part of my house after I purchased it. When I got a new job a year and a half later and needed to sell, I discovered that the work they did wasn't even half of what was actually needed, and that I would have to spend several thousand more to complete the job. In discussions with Acculevel, I was told "our guy should have done a more complete inspection" and "I’ve been in situations where sellers try and manage the contract in a way to save themselves money. That’s probably what happened in this case. That’s still no excuse, we should look at the whole house.” Yet I don't know if anyone was ever truly forthcoming with me about what was going on — with the previous job and the new estimate of what else was needed — and I certainly didn't appreciate Freddie's attempts to gaslight me while looking at inspection reports. Seven thousand dollars -- which is the discounted price they quoted me only after several hours of back and forth -- is a huge amount of money that I shouldn't have to pay, if only Acculevel had been as "honest and transparent" as it claimed to be when I purchased the home. I'd be skeptical of any estimate they provide.

They did a good job. There were some issues with getting them to come back and finish a few items and check things but they did come out and it was eventually all finished. The salesmen were super nice and the workers cleaned up well.

This company was super quick to respond and came out right away to look at my issue. They went above and beyond to find the problem and provide me with several options to the solution. They also provided a a pamphlet with information on the subject making the process a lot easier to understand. I plan to call them back once I am ready as the option I want is a bit expensive for me at this time. (Welcome to home ownership) I will be giving their number out to others.

I'm very pleased. I had concerns about dust and fumes from the epoxy. The dust was minimal and fumes were not an issue at all. If I had to do it all over again, I'd set up a box fan with filters, as I've seen on YouTube, but even without that, the dust was not overwhelming. The workers arrived on time, explained what they were going to do and welcomed my checking in on them. When they went to lunch, they cleaned up their work area, (even put the toilet seat down in the basement bathroom), something I didn't expect at all. I had questions when they were at lunch, and the salesman got the answers I needed quickly. A couple of things I would change about this process: 1. After they were done, cleaned the area for the day, and put their equipment away, one of the workers invited me downstairs to approve their work. If I had not approved, it was a bit late for me to object as they were packed and ready to go. I suggest in the future the homeowner be asked for their approval before everything's packed up. Their work looked good, but this seemed like a manipulative tactic that wasn't appreciated. 2. The more experienced of the two workers explained early on that he needed to remove some insulation but assured me he'd put it back when he was done. When I saw that he'd not put it back, I mentioned it. He refused to put it back, saying "It doesn't matter". It was an odd way to end a perfect job up to that point. I was totally pleased with how everything was handled, and then that comment and behavior from him just put a bad taste in my mouth. That evening or the next day, I received a very nice gift from the company that was just a really nice touch. A couple of weeks later, we had heavy rains and I experienced water along the walls where the work was done. Within a week of me raising the concern, an arrangement for a technician to visit my home was made. I appreciate their prompt attention to the matter. I expect it's very simple like needing more epoxy at the base of the straps, so I decided to go ahead and submit this review. It's difficult to find trustworthy people to do work in your home. I'm very relieved I found a company that is totally worthy of that trust and highly recommend Acculevel. The work they did looks good and solid.

One screw type pier installed. 2 workers hand dug hole below bottom of foundation. Cleaned out under foundation for platform. Although foundation was deeper than I thought, the hole was done much better and quicker than I envisioned. Pier was screwed at bottom of hole with a hydraulic motor. Once limit on hydraulic pressure was reached, the pier was cut at proper level, platform installed, and cracked section of foundation was raised with a hydraulic jack. Crack in stonework closed up nicely without going too far and creating additional cracks. Workers had 5 and 15 years experience doing this work. Very professional and did a very nice job every step of the way. Note that I (homeowner) chose to move and reinstall landscaping stones and gutter drain. Also, tuckpointing/repairing the cracks was not included in the quote. I plan to do that myself at a later date.

This company is absolutely wonderful beginning with the courtesy when I called to schedule an appointment the first time. Next Jack N who arrived at my home on time and as promised. He provided me estimate for the repair and went over every detail of it with me. When the crew arrived to do the job they were very professional and performed the job as promised. I have a large house that was built in 1902 and was NOT able to find anyone willing to tackle my problem. Acculevel came in and fixed every issue. My house has a tight crawl space but Acculevel was able to replace a beam and the sister joist. In addition provided support and leveled out my floor. This was done without needing to cut a hole in my floor. The results were immediate and my floor looks and feels wonderful. I immediately noticed the stability. I can not thank Acculevel enough for their hard work and reasonable pricing for my job. I would highly recommend them for all your foundation and stabilization needs. Super job Acculevel!!!! 10 stars

I have some level of disappointment because Acculevel was unable to lift the patio back to its original position. That being said, I think the challenges they encountered would have been encountered by anyone else, and some of the other one-man mudjacking operations who wanted to use buckets or wheelbarrows to carry slurry back to my patio probably would have given up earlier. I chose Acculevel because they use foam instead of slurry (which should last much longer), they had a 300 foot hose solving problems with access to the backyard (I live on a steep slope with retaining walls), and I had more confidence selecting them compared to independent one-man operations who do mudjacking. Their price wasn't the highest bid I received but it wasn't the lowest. I thought it was fair given the foam is a higher quality product. The crew actually arrived an hour early, which actually wasn't ideal but not a big deal (a call would have been nice). They worked hard and I suspect they were there much longer than they had originally envisioned. They did a nice job sealing all cracks when they were done with a high-quality crack filler which most of the mudjacking guys told me they don't do. The good crack filler can be messy and difficult to work with so this was a nice little bonus. Although they couldn't get the patio back to where it was, they worked hard to do the best they could without risking damage to the retaining wall. At least with the foam they use, I have confidence it won't sink anymore.

The Acculevel personnel offered practical, cost-effective solutions. No pressure or subtle fear tactics were used - just a realistic evaluation of the problems in the crawl space. When work began, the workers were polite, cooperative and informative. There were a couple of minor problems but Acculevel addressed the problems in an appropriate time frame. Although Acculevel personnel were frequently available, they could not always be immediately available. In those instances, they returned calls and maintained contact both before and after the job was completed. In one case, the job supervisor called me during a family vacation to let me know that there might be delays, but that any problems would be addressed - and they were.

I was very pleased with this company from the beginning of the job through to the end. They were prompt and did what they said they would do. They did not charge for "extra add-ons" and also lowered their bill when they found out things were not needed. Their honesty really impressed me! I only regret that I can't provide them with A+! I would recommend this to anyone who needs this service.

This is one of the BEST COMPANIES I have ever worked with! They are very responsive & HONEST!! - After they excavated the sites it was discovered there where Helical piers from a past job of theirs from many years ago... maybe even 20 years ago. Nolan Beery came down to Indianapolis to see the piers first hand - and covered them with their lifetime warranty. I was not the original owner that added the piers... they found the receipt that they did do the work many years ago for a previous owner of my home. They covered majority of the pier sites under their warranty. THERE ARE FEW COMPANIES THAT HAVE THIS HONESTY & INTEGRITEY LIKE ACCULEVEL. Acculevel is one of the best companies I have worked with. Hands down if you need any foundation work by a professional company that stands by their work Acculevel is the choice!

He gave me a ballpark, verbal price and I asked for written estimates on what each option would cost and the length of time to complete each one. I am still waiting for the estimates. I have sent an email to the representative email, but have received no reply. Not a good image to portray.

Description of Work
Representative was requested to inspect a basement wall that was seeping water. The individual identified himself as a "project manager" and explained one option was to expose and seal an underground block wall. The second option was to cut out a portion of the concrete floor in the basement and install a sump pump to remove any water collected.

Our project manager was on site to visit this client and review the project. During the slightly more than 3 weeks of time lapse from the first visit until this review was posted our project manager was out on vacation for a week. During this time, the client claims that she reached out to our project manager with a single email that was never received by our project manager. There are multiple sources that clients use to contact us, our website, calling the office even our project managers cell phones etc. We wish the client would have availed themselves of another method rather than relying on a single email. Also, our project manager was not aware of any deadline for getting a proposal or written estimate back to the client and neither did our project manager promise a date that a proposal would be given. Since the date that this review was posted there has been multiple attempts by different managers through email and phone calls with voice mails to reach back out to this client with absolutely no response or any acknowledgment of us trying to make and initiate contact. We would still be willing to work with this client in whatever avenue is necessary to get pricing and complete this project but given this clients choice not work with us limits our ability to work through this situation.

After signing contract, over a week passed and no one called us after they got our down payment. I had to call cust. service and request they put me on schedule. Four weeks later, first crew is sent out. They replaced the rotten sill plate but left the rotten band board and inserted small blocks instead between the joist and screwed them to the rotten wood! Then they attached some new sisters joist, but they screwed them into the rotten joists instead of removing the rot first! I called and complained, after some run around, they sent out 2nd crew. 2nd crew said they were only told to fix the blocks and NOT replace the rotten band board. We spoke with our sales rep. and the owners son. They admitted they DONT replace rotten wood. They only do blocking. If my husband hadn't of gone down in the crawl space we would have never known they did not do all the work as the contract stated. Needless to say, I fired them and they had to refund us back some money. I would NOT RECOMMEND this company to anyone! If you go ahead and do use them, be sure to inspect all their work after they are done BEFORE paying them. Will upload pictures.
