Large pine tree went from green needles to rusty brown over a very short period of time--so to keep it from spreading to other trees, we needed to get it removed asap. A+ responded by squeezing in an estimate on day 1, and sent removal crew (8 people, 7 trucks) on day two. Access through damp area increased urgency since rain was forcast for day 3. Result: tree removal was completed in 3 hours, including cleanup. A very visible part of lawn over which tree removal machine had to pass was protected with large thick rubber pads. They worked extremely well--net no damage to lawn or driveway. Team worked efficiently and safely. The climber was amazing and was able to drop limbs without damaging surrounding trees/shrubs..
Not cheap, but a tough job very well done.

They arrived early enough to set up and start cutting on time at 9:00 am. I had 2 trees removed and stumps grind. One tree was huge, twice the height of my split level home and wider also. They were so professional as a team they completed the job and clean up in 2 hours. Just amazing!

We cannot recommend Woody and Carolina Professional Landscapes enough. During a very busy season he was able to fit in our job within a couple of months of scheduling and for a reasonable rate to overhaul our entire yard, front and back. It was a huge project and he was there every step of the way, checking in on days other contractors were working and checking on his workers several times a day. He was also very responsive to any questions that came up along the way. During the initial consultation, Woody suggested that a small paver patio off the porch would add a nice entertaining area, and it turned out lovely. We canâ  t wait to grill out on it.
The yard was a mess and we had a big drainage issue where one side of the house had become a swamp. CPL was able to re-grade everything to have a slight slope and bury all the downspouts to drain to popup drains at the lowest point. Before doing this work, they had to remove old and rotted railroad ties and tons of rocks that filled a boat pad.
We also had them redo all the landscaping in the front of the house, and they picked out a wonderful variety of bushes and evergreens. They also installed sod around the whole property and were sure to prep the ground with a huge amount of soil/manure mixture. In addition, Woody was very knowledgeable about the best type of grass to install given the amount of shade in our backyard.
Since finishing we have received numerous compliments from both neighbors and from random people walking by. One of our neighbors recently put their house on the market and, only partly in jest, said that one reason they had such good offers come in was that our landscaping looked so good. This was a very large job, and throughout it all we were impressed with both the quality of the work and the level of professionalism.

We hired Blackwood Landscaping to install spartan junipers along our fence and refresh our mulch throughout the yard. Due to the lack of rain, our dirt basically turned to concrete and gave them a run for their money. Blackwood kept at it until the job was done. They were quick to fix any issues we brought up and they cleaned up after their work completely. Great company!

They did an amazing job! Took down a big river birch between my home and the neighbors house. They came in, cut the tree and cleaned everything up so well you would never have known they were there except for the giant tree that was gone.
