The Grounds Guys of North College HillIn February 2021 we had three snowstorms here in Cincinnati, which made it impossible to hire a company to get the job done. I made my last desperation phone call to the Grounds Guys, Vickie assured me that she and her crew of workers would get the job done, all of the snow and ice were pushed aside very neatly all walk ways and parking spaces cleared to the pavement. Shortly after, I received a call from their very kind bubbly and professional representative. They scheduled a time and date to come out to my home. They arrived on time! Werbrich's LandscapingWe have consistently used Werbrich's Landscaping for your yard. We found them through a friend, when Werbrich's were doing a very large project-building a retaining wall with extra water features for them. At the time I did not have a water feature, but after talking to them and being asked several questions, they took what I had envisioned in my head and made it a reality in my yard. I wanted the house and the yard to be an extension of each other and seen from every window in the back of the house. They have been back every year since. We are always introduced to the crews and who may be new to the site. Their professionalism is exceptional and thorough. Safety and keeping my pond happy is their goal. If one of their crew is in the neighborhood, they will stop by to see if everything is going as anticipated. If they spot something, they will let us know asap. Other companies have asked to do maintenance on our pond and yard and I won't let them touch the balance that is established in the backyard. Werbrich's have established an oasis in our yard for neighbors and friends to relax and enjoy.- R H K.

Affordable Lawncare and Home ServicesI needed help finding extra hands for my in-laws in another state as requested by my mother-in-law. Affordable Lawn Care was very prompt and communicative about getting out to the property and providing an estimate. Despite a very fair and reasonable price, my father-in-lawn declined the help and still wanted to do the work himself. Lesson learned: don't get in between your in-laws! I would definitely hire Affordable Lawn Care if given the chance. It was pleasant just getting a professional response back in a timely manner compared to other people I contacted- Chris K.

DeVore RoofingI called on Sunday, early afternoon. They were very helpful, gave me an estimate over the phone. They were there in about an hour. We had snow, but ice underneath. They did the driveway and two walkways and sidewalk and gutter right in front of the driveway. Lots of salt was put down. I was very pleased with the job and the timeframe in which it got done. Lebanon Lawn & LandscapeI first contacted Zach 2 weeks ago & set up an appointment to discuss and quote lawn care services and potential landscape improvements while our house is on the market (we're moving soon). We initially had a "bobble" when Zach didn't show and didn't call for our Saturday appointment, but he contacted me on Monday with sincere apologies for having to leave town unexpectedly. Zach and I met, and I explained that we're moving in 2 weeks and are putting our house up for market, so I needed some immediate sprucing up as well as ongoing weekly care. Zach was impressively knowledgeable about every shrub, plant, and flower currently in our yard, telling me which ones would come back in the spring, which ones should be cut back, and which ones should be left alone to preserve their winter health. He made suggestions for "curb appeal" and even saved me money by discouraging me from spending money on new flowers or plants, saying the new color wouldn't last long enough in the winter weather to justify the cost. He was professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant. His pricing was reasonable - knowing what I had previously been paying, his quote was still lower. Zach agreed to provide all the services our home will need while it's on the market. I was impressed and contracted with him to begin the following week. Zach and his crew came bright and early on the day of service. I was amazed at the precision of their work and great attention to detail (see "What did the provider do?"), and our yard looks really great now. After I received a quote and scheduled the work. Nate and his buddy with the front-end loader and stump-grinder (friends since they were 5–talk about integrity!) arrived on time, assessed the situation, and got right to work. It was a difficult, dirty job, but they did it—and did a thorough clean-up of all of the debris. I’m so happy I found Nate Blanton’s Absolute Greenscapes on Angie’s List! A word of advice: Don’t plant ornamental grasses in your landscaping, but if you do, call Absolute Greenscapes to rescue you!

I called Edge2Edge Lawn Solutions when I was unhappy with my second lawn care service. Steve came out and gave me an estimate for lawn service. When I learned they also trim shrubs, pull weeds and put down mulch, they were hired. I've lived in this house for a number of years. The back yard really isn't usable, because of the incline. On the other hand, at the bottom of the hill is a creek (storm drain, actually). During heavy rains, I hear the water flow. Due to honeysuckle, weeds and heavy brush, we couldn’t see the water at bottom of the hill. The guys from Edge2Edge were able to clear that area. Now, I’m looking forward to the next heavy rain so I can see the water flow as well as listen to it. They’re nice people, they do good work and their prices are reasonable. I’m very happy!
