It is so rare that we see someone with anything near to this level of expertise, dedication, and value for any home construction or service job. This guy is the real deal, honest and professional. He does what he loves, and he loves what he does, and in doing so provides REAL value for his specific niche. Explained everything and every charge beautifully down to the last detail. We had estimates that were much higher, but he was so principled about explaining what was necessary that we were able to actually save money. We had purchased an older house, and the attic ducts were crushed and a spaghetti mess, making the vents dusty, moldy, and impossible to clean. He redesigned and replaced the ducts for an incredibly reasonable cost, focusing only on what was needed. He did all the work himself and was very careful to keep the workspace clean and tidy. There’s a bit of a delay to get him to be able to come to assess your home, but boy, was it worth it!!! Boyd Services was the most incredibly professional service I’ve hired in all my years from HomeAdvisor or Angie’s Service. We’re talking 2 decades of home services. If I could give him a hundred stars I would. We are super happy we hired him instead of the other folks.

I called Carlos Sunday afternoon. No AC downstairs or up. My home warranty wouldn't repair . Carlos had me a portable AC to my home within no time. Came out early Monday morning did repairs on my downstairs in 20 mins need a new one for upstairs and will go through Ez Comfort. Can not thank him enough excellent work,customer service outstanding,my HERO.IF ANYONE IS IN NEED THIS IS THE BEST COMPANY AROUND.THANK YOU AGAIN.

Came same day and even though the new thermostat installation was more complex than originally expected, he forged ahead and made sure our A/C was working properly before leaving. Much appreciated, and we were impressed with the service and cost. We plan to use Prottek again in the near future when we make some changes to our central HVAC system.

Oscar did an excellent job communicating exactly what I needed to connect my portable generator to my electrical panel. When finished, he took me through the entire process of what to do in case of a power outage. He was very thorough in taking me through a hands on process. He marked the essential circuits I need for an emergency outage. I'm now confident I'll have lights, heat/air, refrigerator and internet in case of an outage. I highly recommend him for your electrical needs.

My AC and HVAC system was 30 years old, so when it went out (in a glorious fashion!) there was no doubt what would be needed. Mauricio came out at the scheduled time to look my system over, he was very friendly and explained everything in such a way that it was easy to understand exactly what I would be getting and why I needed it. They followed through on the appointment and installed 2 complete Trane HVAC systems in one day with no surprises! After the installation Mauricio walked me through everything showing me what was done and explaining everyday maintenance and money saving tips. I would highly recommend this company for any repair or installation!

I would really like to have given them a 5-star rating, however, there was a couple of things that were off about this hire. I was told the day before that the job would be somewhere between 150-200 no more than 200 dollars. I also asked the man who came out if he had a drill to which he replied he did. When they got here they said our drill is not working so we have to do it by hand (make the holes where the screws and post were going to go). They were putting up floating shelves which were designed to be easier to put up. The job took over 2 hours and the last shelf was placed too close to the other so they are not even.
The two workers were pleasant and friendly. The job took longer because they did not have a drill and I've already said above that the last shelf came out crooked which I am disappointed about. Not to mention it's noticeable. In the end, it cost me $230 I guess because it took them over two hours. I am left disappointed with the work quality. And thought I was hiring some handymen that I could use for other projects but I'm afraid not. Which is sad.

The night our AC went out I called and they answered the phone at 8:30 at night! They came to our house the morning after our AC went out and arrived 30 min before the scheduled time! They called first and made sure it was okay for them to arrive early and then waited for us to get out to them. We were provided with our options for repair and all were very reasonably priced. They worked in the rain to complete the project and made sure everything was working correctly before leaving.
I have been using UV Sam for 6 years for maintenance and repairs on our heating and AC units. I have had zero complaints with their service or products. They are dependable, trustworthy, and a wonderful company to work with.
