Blue Way ConcreteThere crew was very hospitable and we were able to cut our price down since we wanted to keep quite a bit of the concrete, use them as planters for defining spaces. They even helped us place many of them in our garden areas. My husband provided them with pizza and drinks as they are very diligent workers and we were able to work with them and enjoy in the fun endeavor. Vincent, Elizabeth and Philipe and there crew conscientious with their timing and bent over backwards to help meet our needs. We were very grateful for all the help they gave and our driveway and walkway look fantastic with our curves. Our neighbors are very happy with our new driveway as well.- Christina A.

Blue Way ConcreteBlue Way Concrete did an exceptional job with our project. They were by far the best company we have ever worked with. We had a very old concrete driveway, parking pad and porch/walkway which needed to be removed. We had a new concrete ribbon driveway, porch and walkway installed by Blue Way. I was contacted within 24 hours of requesting a quote on Angie’s List. Felipe then came out to the house and took detailed notes and measurements. He was the only contractor (out of 4 companies) that arrived for a quote with a mask. We received our quote within a timely manner. The quote contained a detailed drawing along with a extensive breakdown of all labor and materials. It also contained information on what to expect during the project and a photo of the pea gravel that we requested. When there was a question on a measurement, Felipe and Kati arrived back out the same day and sent a revised quote within 24 hours. Blue Way's quote was very competitive and because of their detailed quote, reviews and professionalism we hired Blue Way. Felipe stayed in touch with me before the project started and gave me updates on times and work during the project. The crew leaders kept us informed on the work and made sure to get our input on any questions that arose. The crew always arrived on time. They were courteous, friendly, very efficient and always cleaned up. Because a bobcat was needed to demo the existing concrete, we knew there may be some damage to our lawn. Rolando made sure to lessen the damage by following his tracks and not damaging more of the yard than needed. The project was completed within a day of the timeframe given at the start of the project. We are extremely happy with the work Blue Way Concrete provided and we would highly recommend them.- Barbara V.

I hired Quality Contractors to install low voltage lighting. It was a $8500 job. The wiring was placed just below the mulch so within a few weeks, much of the wiring was exposed. I called Mike to get this resolved. He said that the person who buried the cables was new and didn't do it deep enough - it was supposed to be below the mulch; they returned to bury it correctly. About a year later, one of the lights stopped working. It took me a few weeks to get anyone to return my calls. It took another few weeks for anyone to come out to the house to repair the issue. Last month, another light stopped working. Once again, I called and had to leave messages. Brian and Mike then bounced my issue between the two of them. After 2 weeks of this, I finally got Mike to discuss the issue on the phone. He said he would charge me $90 plus labor and parts to repair a light that was still under warranty. I tried to explain what the situation was and ask why the item wasn't covered under the warranty. He then got very rude and disrespectful, accusing me of calling him names and lying. I told him he was the one lying as I had our conversation on tape. Suddenly, his demeanor changed and he wanted to cooperate with me. I asked to talk to Brian several times and he refused- stating that he was the boss and he made the decisions. He also stated that a service call wound entail traveling 2 hours one way to my house (from Canton to South Asheville??) and that I already had several service calls in the past - so much for extended warranties with this company. His professionalism and customer service skills do not exist. I cannot recommend this company unless you hope to never need follow up/warranty service from them once the job is done!

David came to see what I wanted done, needed a unique retaining wall built, terrace created and it was created even better than I thought it could ever be....wonderful ideas, always communicating because I was seldom there...completed exactly on time...no additional time needed nor was there more costs past his initial estimate for the job. David is very knowledgeable with regard to water run off and/or problems, permanent drains, graded the road....I could not be happier.
