La Comunificadora is back with some new, challenging projects

La Comunificadora programme

The third edition of La Comunificadora is already in full activity. Participating projects belong to a wide range of sectors, care, education, tourism, reuse and exchange of objects, tools and services, makers, textile sector, communication or open community networks. The selected initiatives further extend the scope of the Barcelona Activa programme (after the two previous editions in 2016 and 2017)  to promote commons and collaborative economy projects.

Comunificadora second edition, here are the chosen projects

La Comunificadora is the Commons and Collaborative Economy projects support programme by Barcelona Activa, developed by Free Knowledge Institute and others, which launched its second edition a few weeks ago. The projects chosen this time show the scope of La Comunificadora, and how the same programme may be deployed in any other country. More complete descriptions of the several projects are available in Catalan and Spanish.

Invitation to sign the DiDIY Creative Society Manifesto

Meet FKI at the Digital DIY Final Conference!

As you probably already know, FKI is one of the partners of the EU H2020 research project called "DiDIY (Digital DIY)". This important work, which among other things provided us with some of the bases for other current initiatives like Comunificadora, FemProComuns and The Things Network, is now coming to an end. Therefore, we'd love to share the results with you all at the DiDIY Final Conference, on June 22nd in Milan, Italy. Details and link to free registrations are below.
