"Thanks to the excellent, efficient, and expedient work of the arborist, pruners, and staff at Koala Tree Care, our Bacon avocado tree got its large broken branch removed and a proper pruning to do necessary end weight reduction to limit the chance of more limbs breaking . (The last time, a different company topped off our tree, something we found you should not do, which caused an assortment of structural problems). Steve, the pruner, and his assistant took good care of us, and during their work, we discovered that three other big branches were in danger of eventually breaking, so they trimmed the tree back, provided the appropriate cover to prevent tree scorching, and balanced the weight of the tree, so it can grow healthily in a proper, compact size. What we may have lost in this year’s crop, we have gained in safety. And while they were at our place, they noticed that a number of our citrus trees were not doing well (basically because by sweeping away leaves all the time, we had left no composting or nutrients to go into the ground). As they often do apparently, they brought a wood chipper along and offered us the wood chips from our avocado tree to lay down for composting. So all in all, a very positive experience and a great price."
