Alex Lockstead of Eaton Inspections came highly recommended from a family friend and proved to be the best professional decision we made in our home buying process. Alex is extremely responsive and easy to work with, but more importantly he is incredibly meticulous and skilled at his craft. The quality, thoroughness, and detail of his inspection and corresponding documentation was absolutely astounding. We inspected two different homes with Alex, and both realtors commented to us how markedly better Alex's work and process was than others they regularly work with in their careers. The peace of mind afforded with Alex is worth every cent. He saved us from buying what would have been a financial nightmare of a home. When we found our second home during the Covid pandemic, we knew we wanted no one but Alex to inspect it, and literally wrote our inspection period terms around his schedule. Alex worked with us to safely inspect it and was extremely respectful and sensitive of the homeowner's safety and comfort. Alex delivered his impeccably detailed report and made time to host a debrief call and was available with follow up calls and texts as needed to help us assess our home. You can't put a price on having someone you can trust as you make the biggest financial decision of your life, but you can choose Alex at Eaton Inspections and that is pretty darn close!

Gerard Home InspectionThis was an awesome experience. Bryce went through everything in the house, tested everything, and was very knowledgeable. He was happy to have me accompany him and ask questions. I received the written report within an hour, with a cell phone number if I have any additional questions. I paid extra for the sewer pipe scope and he was able to scope out 100 feet. Luckily for me there wasn't anything big found, but he found a lot of nicky nack things that I wouldn't have figured out until after I lived in the home for a month, like that the front window had a lazy sash. I would use them again, I recommend them highly, and I made sure that my real estate agent knew they were a good resource to recommend. I found them as a personal recommendation from a friend and he didn't lead me wrong. I also paid extra for termite inspection so the price below reflects all of that.- anera s.

Extremely thorough, identifying point of entry, and other possible entry points for other insects and animals. A motion-controlled camera was even placed to capture rodent intrusion. Service technician was experienced and extremely knowledgeable. I would use this service again in a heartbeat, although it seems unlikely because the recommended preventative measures have been so thorough. I recommend Waschbar without reservation.- Don G.

Gerard Home InspectionStephen Zumdick wrote a 68 page report pointing major repairs/replacement needed; roof, all havoc, electric panel, chiming cracks, etc. The seller did not disclose any of these and other items. Because of his report, we rejected the money pit house. He spent an hour pointing out the defects, and a hundred pictures showed us the complete wear of the roof, etc. He also pointed out several good points. As we now have to start over again, we will request Steve again. He represent Gerard Home inspection well.- David R.
