A-1 Pumping IncRob, the driver, was better than on-time, he was early. That was our first indicator about this company. He was extremely patient with all of our questions. He was courteous and professional as he explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. My mother, an 83 year old widow remarked on his professional behavior and how impressed she was. He gave us good recommendations on how to better maintain our system and never talked down to us, even though we knew nothing about septic systems. A-1 Pumping IncRob was very professional and always had an up and positive attitude. Easy to deal with. He arrived at the agreed on time and cleaned the tank. Another employee delivered the concrete riser I purchased in order to bring the tank's drain opening to grade level. Rob removed this 350 pound riser himself and rolled it over the the opening and dropped it and and placed it over the drain hole. All done quickly and efficiently. All of my neighbors in this small community and probably all of The Ogden Valley, have used this service and I have never heard a bad word about Rob or the work he does. All Hours Plumbing & Drain CleaningWe got several quotes and everyone in business these days is pretty competitive. However we went with this company because it's privately owned and run. You don't get a tech that is not experienced. You get the owner himself. And he is very knowledgeable. He was very punctual, told us where to get the best pricing for the dishwasher. We wanted the best. He also checked all the plumbing in the entire house to let us know anything we need to take care of in the near future. Only a couple of minor things were found so we had them fixed while he was here and we are good to go for a long time. We have another kitchen in our house and use that one a lot too. Pumpers PlusShane was one of the most on-top-of-it service providers we've worked with. He visited to help identify the location of the tank and charged a minimal fee to do that. After excavation by another contractor, Shane showed up on time, did his work promptly and completely. He was responsive to all phone calls and scheduling, and stands out relative to other contractors that don't show up or return calls. Anyone within Shane's service area should use him.- G D B.

Pumpers PlusShane did a fantastic job. I spoke to him on Sunday and he gave me some good guidance. He arrived on time Monday and explained to me what he was going to do. He discussed the type of Septic tank I had and indicated that it looked to be in great condition. After he finished pumping the tank he put the lid back on and helped me cover the tank. Delta Van Lines was a terrible experience. They are brokers and don't let them tell you differently. My sales person, Natalie, was quite nice until I started having problems. Then she would not return my calls. She promised me that they used their own trucks and drivers ( except upon rare occasion ) . Not true. My pick up was "Big Boy Moving." Four guys in which one was on the phone the entire time, one was skyping in the bedroom with the doors closed and the other two were working. The head guy immediately told me there would be an extra $300 for a long haul and $150 for a bulk shipment. I had told Natalie the elevator was right there next to the loading dock at my apartment. She said no problem, no long haul charge. The bulk charge, I never did understand and they really couldn't explain it . When I called Natalie while this guy was trying to collect this money, she said and I quote "Well I will never use them again.". She said she would call me back and that's the last I heard from her. I was stuck. I ended up calling Big Boy Movers and they had no answers either. Before the movers were done, they came right out and asked me for a tip. Of course I gave it to them, they had my stuff. But they literally asked me. This was the most unprofessional experience I have had moving. I have written an email to the manager Joshban Molina who has never responded. Natalie stopped communicating the minute she had my money. The only good thing that happened was that they were on time. I do not recommend this company at all. Besides the rudeness of the actual movers, there was no support from the company I had hired, Delta Van Lines. They could have cared less.

I went with him because he really seemed knowledgeable. He asked great questions, explained things, and did it with integrity. I had been quoted a price of $1300 from ESCO, another plumbing company, for the same job only hours before.
