Choice Home WarrantyFor this particular case, I placed a request at night and first thing in the morning a service technician was assigned. I got an email notification with the details as well as a phone call from Choice followed by a call from the service technician company to schedule. Luckily they came over a Sunday. He knew his stuff and within 30 mins figured next steps. A major part needed replaced. He checked with Choice and they approved - no push back or haggle. I want to start by saying I have tried many home warranty companies (AHS, Total, etc) in the past few years, but Choice Home Warranty is my favorite! They deliver every time. There are times when they did not agree to a fix but that was because I had not read the contract properly. Also while service is decent best of all their premiums and deductibles are the lowest in the industry. I love CHW!!!- Sarosh S.

MILO SERVICES MSI had a hot water tank ruin my finished basement. I was lucky to get ahold of Milo the same morning and by the afternoon they had demo'd the entire basement and already started the process to get reimbursed from my insurance company. Milo was a huge help in getting my basement restored correctly and quickly. He came back multiple times to review the progress and make sure that there weren't any mold or mildew issues in the space.- David V.

MILO SERVICES MSWe solicited bids from a three contractors for converting a garage to an apartment for an elderly retiring pastor. Keeping costs down, while maintaining a beautiful result was essential. Milo's bid was over what we wanted to spend, but the lowest of the three. He agreed to take on the project and work to lower costs at all points, allowing us to do part of the work to save money. He wanted to help and this is what made us select him. Milo needed to bring in water, septic, electricity, and gas to the garage. He constructed walls for kitchen, bath, and bedroom. He did lighting, plumbing, heating, ac, drywall, built in bookshelves and bed. Basically, he created a complete house in miniature working from a very simple drawing (donated services!) by our architect (Mimi Jong of MLJ Architects--also fantastic!) Milo Services-- Milo, his father Clyde, and Billy Domhoff (electrician) created a first class team: incredibly friendly, a joy to greet each morning, excellent craftsmen. They worked seamlessly together helping each other out, creatively resolving unforeseen problems. We have worked with numerous contractors and have been burned by shoddy work, unethical behavior, nonpayment of subcontractors, etc. Finally, we have found the best. Hapchuk IncWe used Hapchuk's for a septic system inspection for a home we were under contract with. We only had a few days to get the inspection in and they made time to get us scheduled. The inspection was thorough and they pointed out many issues with the septic system. Based on the inspection, we decided to get out of the contract. First of all, I can can do plumbing myself, but it usually involves more than a day or two and multiple trips to one of the big box stores. Since the tub hardware was old and corroded, I didn't want to take a chance of making things worse, so I decided to call in a professional; that the toilet started leaking was a (happy) coincidence for me, so he or she could do that at the same time. I contacted TruPlumbing and Tom was dispatched for the job... he contacted me to set up a time and date for the service call and also gave me a quote and the option to buy my own parts for the job, telling me what was needed, Tom arrived on time and had both jobs completed in a few hours; he was very professional, covered his shoes so as not to track dirt into the house, and explained what all he had done. I would definitely recommend TruPlumbing and will use them in the future.

I called them on a Saturday, but they don't work on Saturday's, instead they called me at 8:00 AM Monday morning and told me that they could do the work for me and will be here at 9:00 to 11:00 AM, and they actually came quickly, and they kept their word, they were here when they said they would, when they checked underneath the kitchen sink, aside form the pipe leakage, they also found out that the valve was also not working properly and was leaking as well and so, he also fixed the valve and for that extra work they didn't charge me extra, the work was efficient and very pleasant, I would highly recommend them.
