I used an Angie's List Big Deal coupon for this service. It was good and he was very nice but my $99 price turned out to be $209 by the time he got done. He did what I asked him to do and he was very professional; it was a good company. The original price was great but then I needed more things done so it turned out to be more money.

My wife lost the key to a rental car, and I needed to return the car the same day that I called Economy. I was told a time ( within a few hours) that someone would be there. He called ahead of time, to tell me where he was, and gave me his ETA. It was a bit later than the appointed time, but it was still before noon, and he made an extra key at no charge! The quick response was exceptional and the rental was returned earlier than the scheduled time.

It was fine however there was a misunderstanding because I was having something else re-keyed and I thought it was part of the $19 deal amount and he told me that that was extra. He was very good and he honored the service on the Angie's List website and the service was re-keying. I guess there are arts of the re-keying that he charges differently for but he was very good he didn't charge me any more. But I think the coupon needs to be more specific because if it's just a re-keying labor then that should be different from there being parts to be included for the re-keying service and that would cost extra. The service took place on Monday. It didn't take him very long. He said he will straighten out the miscommunication next time.

I do not know how this company ever got on your list, let alone you promoting it. Talk about the ultimate bait and switch this was it. Yes the service charge was discounted to 29.99 but that was only done to make the customer feel good that he was getting a fair deal. Stupid me. The service person was here for only 45 minutes and the labor charge was 195.00 plus the 29.99----225.00 for 45 minutes work. 300.00 an hour let me at that job.

They were good. I was putting graphite and WD40 in it about every 5 or 6 days. They fixed it and it opens and closes so easily now. I was just shocked. They didn't try to sell me a new one. The guy was honest and told me that it was a cheap lock even though it was a brand name and that was the reason I was having problems with the tumblers. He suggested that I buy a Slade lock.

Recent Review: Our electronic front door lock broke and needed replacement. We'd been dealing with a property manager-recommended locksmith for several days, and finally got fed up after waiting all day, then getting told that we'd need to wait until tomorrow, again. We reached out to several locksmiths via Angie's List email. Pro Locksmiths 24-7 answered within 15 min, and after some back and forth messages, the locksmith was willing to come out that evening, even though it was after 9:30 PM. By 11:30 PM, we had a temporary lock installed, without requiring any modifications to our door, as requested by our property manager. While the price may have been a little steep (we were charged for an attempt to fix the original electronic lock, even though we were pretty sure that it was unfixable), the locksmith was friendly, skillful, prompt with communications and with showing up onsite (even in the middle of the night), and honest in his assessment of the situation. We'd definitely hire him again should the need arise.
