After the storm in Jan. we had to replace some fencing and two side gates. Kevin came out right away and gave us the estimate. He also went around the yard and checked the rest of the fence for any weak areas that may need support. He thought the rest of the fence was okay so gave an estimate for building a new fence, replacing 3 posts and making new gates. The work was completed in one day. The bill was separated between us and our neighbor who agreed to help pay for the between fence. We are very pleased with the quality of work and the look of the new fence and gates. They also hauled all of the old wood away.

We love our new fence! We're happy with Michael and his team's diligent work on our new fence/gate. We've already gotten several compliments on the fence, and our neighbors whom we share the fence with really love it as well! Michael and his crew take pride in their work and take their time to get it done right the first time. The price was also the best I have seen after reaching out to a few companies, and not to mention the craftsmanship is a cut above! I plan to use Gille's Fence Corp. again soon to do the fence in our front yard. I would definitely and highly recommend Gille's Fence Corp.! Thanks Michael!

My backyard needed terracing as well as a design element to highlight the sunny fence area. The fence also needed finishing (the gate area especially) and I wanted something unique for the gate. Robert designed and implemented all of the changes within 2 days-a monumental task considering I live on a steep hill and tons of dirt needed to be brought in to the area for filling out the yard and both sides of the fence areas. I now have a structurally beautiful area to start planting in the Spring and my gate is really neat looking.

10/10. I spoke with a ton of contractors and they were by far the best. On time, efficient and professional, Bernardo Jr. and Bernardo did an absolutely fantastic job. They were able to copy the same style as the fence, and made it look flawless. Would recommend them to anyone looking at hiring someone for fencing.

Kevin came out to provide us with a quote for replacing our front yard fence and portions of our back fence that were falling down. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and honest with the work that we needed to do. He said that we did not replace the whole back fence, but just the posts. I really liked that he did not try to upsell with work that we didn't need and his prices were very competitive. The crew arrived on time and were polite. There was a small miscommunication about the type of fence step-down that we wanted, but Kevin and his crew fixed the issue and made the fence exactly how we wanted it. It looks great and his crew were careful not to damage the flowers by the fence. We will use them in the future when we need to replace more of our fence.

The fence was much better than I expected. Six foot boards but a seven foot fence using a one foot wide horizontal base board. The wide base board will keep the fence boards out of dirt so they should last longer. Completed the work in about 6 hours. Cleaned up well. I had asked them to leave a few of the best boards from the old fence so I could use them for repairs on my other fences but they left five new boards instead. Gratis. The fence looks great and feels solid. I have no complaints and would go to them next time I need a fence.

Arrived at 7:30a.m. and started work as contracted. Removed old fence, removed fairly large birch tree and constructed board on board 7'4" fence in back and 6',5',4', fence on side. Replaced 2 gates and repaired third gate. Very pleased with our new fences and outstanding new hinges and hardware. Amazed that they could do so much in one day in very hot conditions.

Outstanding, excellent, awesome etc. There are not enough words to describe the outstanding work of this company! They were quick to provide a quote. Once scheduled, they maintained contact and showed up on time. Originally, they said that the work would take 3 days. When they arrived, they informed me that they would be completed in one day! Two crews showed up including the owner, Fidel. The crew worked quickly, everyone was friendly, professional and it was done by the end of the day.

Excellent service from Kevin and his crew. Came when scheduled for estimate, came back for modification at my request. Answered multiple requests for additional information promptly, sent photos of examples, were reachable by phone and text. Installation was quick and clean, all debris removed, etc. Came back for adjustments on request and were very competitive on price.

It was about 45 feet of fence between the neighbor and me and one fence with a gate, an area about 15 feet, and another fence about 9 feet with gate. They put in fencing about 6 1/2 feet from bottom to top, including and quot; piano key and quot; style top; I asked them to have my gates with their associated fencing be the same. The work was done quickly and in an excellent manner and we were able to communicate clearly. They made sure to understand exactly what we wanted. I barricaded my rose bushes that I didn't want to be bashed since they were close to the fence line. One plant that was on the fence I removed temporarily. They had their music playing softly so it didn't disturb others. There were two workers who worked very well together.

Delamore Fencing

Delamore Fencing is the best! High quality fencing material, punctual, hard working crew, very professional, easy to talk to Kevin Delamore. We had 177 ft. of fencing (included 3 gates) and the price was $6,500 ( which we shared with the neighbors) and was the lowest out of 3 estimates. We are having more fencing done and Kevin is coming back for another estimate in May. You can't get a better company. Kevin's brother-in-law answers the phones and is so easy to talk to as well.

I found Gillie’s Fence Corp via Home Advisor. Based on the 5 stars they received on Angie’s List, I put in a request for a quote. Michael Gilmore, the owner, showed up on time (even a few minutes early) and showed me his portfolio. His quote for replacing my side yard, double-wide (RV) fence gate fit my budget ($660.00). He made suggestions for how the new gate should be different from the gate we had had for about 15 years, we agreed on the price, I gave him a $100 deposit, and the work was scheduled for about a week and a half later to give him time to purchase the needed materials. He was to come to do the job on a Monday. On Saturday morning, he called and basically left a message that said “oops, forgot I needed to be out of state on a big job on Monday.” When I finally spoke to him later that weekend, he offered to come and start the job that afternoon which would have undoubtedly left it unfinished with no gate at all for a week or so. We told him no, to go do his other job and we’d see him in a week. When he contacted us upon his return, we told him to go ahead and spend that Sunday with his family and we’d see him bright and early Monday morning. Well, Monday came and went with no sign of him and no phone call, text, or email to explain what happened. When I messaged him that evening to just return my $100 deposit and I’d find someone else to do the job, he responded he’d have his crew there first thing Tuesday morning to start the demo while he went and finished purchasing the materials. I felt we had been more than accommodating to him even though he was not following through with anything that he had said when interviewing to get my job. I began to feel that my job perhaps wasn’t big enough to matter to him although he had said he was trying to establish his own business separate and apart from his father’s. The crew arrived about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2020. They worked until late (almost dark – after 7pm) and when the fence gate was completed, it had a pleasing overall appearance. I gave my seal of approval, saying it “looks nice” but because it was late and I was tired, I didn’t closely examine the details and the workmanship. I truly regret not doing that sooner. The next day, July 29, 2020, in the daylight and upon closer inspection of the gate, I found several problems that needed to be taken care, so I contacted Michael to ask him if he could send someone over to take care of them. He was extremely dismissive of what I had to say, and of the most dangerous of the three problems that were more than just cosmetic -- a 2” screw that he left hanging down -- he stated it was “just a screw.” He must not instinctively understood that should that screw have injured us down the road (it was adjacent to where we were taking the padlock off and on several times a week) and required a tetanus shot, his business might face a lawsuit. I also told him about the hinges that seats the fence pole was loose and dangling, nails were not properly in the bottom board and when you knocked them in, the poles when not seat in the ground because the hole was drilled in the wrong place, the brace board across the top on the inside was splintered along with a couple of fence boards on the outside, and the top hinge for the lock had loose screws and nothing to anchor the other side with just like the bottom hinges for the poles. Rather than sending someone over to take care of the problems, he questioned why I was bringing anything up after I told him that I was satisfied with his work. I have to say it gave me pause when he said that. I told him yes, the gate looks nice but that I still would like to get the issues I mentioned resolved. Those issues that I brought to his attention included the screw, the fact that the post on the left-hand side of the gate, after less than one week, was out of alignment and no longer would go down in the hole in the concrete, and last but not least, the piece of ornamental wood that would serve to hide the improperly cut section of wood that runs the entire diagonal length of the left-hand side of the gate -- and the little scrap of wood he shoved in to fill that gap -- was missing. I call this a “bookend” and it would have matched the piece on the right-hand side gate, thereby hiding the shoddy workmanship. The countersunk holes are present in the wood, he either ran out of materials or just forgot to put it on because the actual ornamental piece is not there. It is important to me that a job is done right no matter how many things you have to fix to complete the task. He, on the other hand, took the attitude, “The job is done, I’ve got my payment, so I’m done”, and whatever happens after that is not his problem. The cost of the gate was not insignificant ($960.00 total), and included unanticipated extra charges. You would think that he would want to ensure that the job was done right. I was truly hoping that he was a professional, someone who stood behind his work, no questions asked. But I was very wrong about that. I’m disappointed that rather than what he said about wanting to grow his business and all the boasting he did, he seems to feel that making the customer feel guilty for pointing out issues and asking for any mistakes made to be corrected is the way to go. Michael Gilmore asked me to give a positive review of his work on the website. I cannot. Michael does not pay attention to detail and does not seem to take pride in his work except on a surface level. When a person does not stand behind their work, it tells me that I’m the lowest priority on their list of things to do and that getting additional jobs is more important than satisfactorily completing the job at hand. I certainly tried to make things as convenient as possible for Michael during this time of COVID-19 when having people come in your “safe space” can be particularly stressful. And being diagnosed with breast cancer a week after the project was completed did not help with the situation. After several attempts to get Michael to work with me on getting the repairs done and meeting with resistance each time, I gave up and concentrated on getting me healthy. I thought we had a good working relationship and was expecting everything would turn out as promised during our initial meeting. But it obviously wasn’t to be. And that too is very, very disappointing. I would not recommend this business to anyone and I will not be using their services again.

Recent Review: We found Everlast Construction after a friend gave us Ariel phone number, we were looking to remodel a house we just bought and wanted an entirely in-home design and build a team to handle the project. After consulting with other companies, we were ultimately drawn to Everlast Construction because of their attractive showroom they took us, they work with amazing showroom that we able to find all of the items we needed. We are a young couple and other companies didn't take our needs very seriously thinking we wouldn't have much business to offer, but Everlast Construction treated us like we were their most important client. Ariel Baleli always greeted us with a smile, we signed the contract a week later and they began working on our home as if we were the first in line. Less than six months later we were moving into the house of our dreams and they still keep in touch with us to make sure everything is looking good and their craftsmanship is lifetime quality.

Recent Review: I had a wasteland at the right side of my property, where the ground was uneven and was covered in pebbles, white rock and dirt. I asked my Neighbor who she had contracted with to do her Patio remodel. She told me "Black Diamond".? I contacted them and made an appointment for their Design Representative to call on me and give me a free design and bid for my side yard.? George Heropoulos called and looked at the "problem".? He took measurements and photos and said he would call the next week for an appointment to show me the design and bid price. I accepted the bid he presented and signed the Contract on June 30, 2014. The work commenced on July 29, 2014 by Hector, the Foreman and his two crew members.? The carefully removed a Japanese Maple tree and three Azalea bushes that I wanted to keep. The also removed some Birch tree roots that were the size of small tree limbs. The temperatures that the crew were dealing with were in the 90's. They worked solid from 7:30am through 4:30pm with a break for lunch. NO heavy machinery was used, all manual labor,? The complete job took them 4.5 days to complete. Hector also built me a gate on that side so I could exit on either side of the property. I was very pleased with the result.

Fence was constructed with good materials and to my specifications. All work was completed quickly. They cleaned up as they went. They finished when they said they would. Fence is working well. I would definitely use them again.

Recent Review: C & H did a wonderful job of putting in a new patio in our backyard, new stucco retaining walls, front steps and sidewalk in our front yard. Beautiful landscape plants with a water saving drip system. The new hardscape and plants enhanced the style of our home. C & H also arranged to have a wrought iron fence installed in our backyard and automatic gate for our driveway that really finished off everything beautifully. Kent and his team were extremely efficient, getting the job done in about 2 weeks. He responded to all my phone calls if I had any questions. We highly recommend C & H.

How much does fence installation near me cost?

Homeowners spend an average of $4,500 to install a new fence. Contact three companies near you to consider all of the local price points.

Wooden fences are the most common and cost-effective option, while aluminum and vinyl fencing tend to cost more. To determine fencing cost, consider the materials being used, the size of the fence and the location where it will be installed.

  • Wooden fences typically cost $16 per foot.
  • Expect to incur $30 per foot for vinyl.
  • $40 per foot for aluminum fencing.
  • Chain-link fences run $13 per foot.
  • Vinyl and aluminum are among the toughest and most durable fencing materials in the market.

How do I choose a good fencing company near me?

To find a quality contractor, ensure they meet the following requirements.

  • Licensed and insured
  • Awareness of underground utility lines
  • Clear and detailed cost estimate
  • It is always a good idea to shop around before selecting a fence installer. Compare three estimates to get the best offer that suits your budget.

In addition to the material cost, also consider labor.

Labor costs range between $30 to $50 per hour.

Location matters because fencing a pool may cost more than simply installing a fence on your front yard. Proper fencing comes in handy for many different applications. An installed fence can secure premises, establish a clear boundary and even boost the aesthetic appeal of a home. A good fencing job involves an understanding of the landscape and use of the right materials. Hire a fence installer who understands your needs and is qualified enough to equip a long-lasting structure.
