My husband contacted Punchlist to drywall our basement and they ultimately ended up doing much more than that. The drywall and installation of doors was approx. $10,000. Then we added a drop ceiling and painting. The drywall work was very professionally done and the finish excellent. We have had many painters in our house over the last 13 years but CJ by far is the best ever. They are very responsive if something isn't done to your liking but most of the time they point out things to you that you hadn't even noticed. The drop ceiling looks wonderful. We requested that they change it around some so we would not have quite as many small pieces and they did that without extra charge. The cost exceeded the original estimate because we added additional work. Ron works within the estimate he gives you. The only thing I would suggest is that you get one estimate for all the work you need. You will get a better price from Ron if you get the estimate for all the work you want done. If you piecemeal the work, they may have to finish one small job and come back at a later date for the next. This ends up taking additional time and additional cost. The price, though, is always fair because they work extremely hard.

I called another painting company on the list. They referred me to Mr. Holloway who lives closer. Mr. Holloway was prompt and quite professional. He worked around our schedule and even came on a Saturday. He is a quality painter and everything was perfect when he finished. He even cleaned up. Couldn't be more thrilled. I plan to use him for two more jobs in the next two months.

Jeff's Drywall
My experience with Jeff's Drywall was great! I had several quotes from different contractors and I narrowed it down to Jeff's Drywall. Most people said that the job would take 3-4 days. Jeff and his guys came in and did the job in a little over a day. They were very professional, courteous and respectful of my home. I highly recommend this company! Their sheetrocking is so good, it didn't even look like it needed sanding after mudding.

I had previously hired JD Painting to paint the exterior of my house. Based on the quality of their work, I asked them to so some drywall repair on the inside of my house. They provided a written quote up front. The work was done promptly and to highest standards. Two additional points are worth mentioning. First, Joe tinted the primer to match the color of the walls (anticipating that it might take some time for me to complete the painting). Second, when the repair ended up costing less than the estimate, Joe refunded the difference. First rate work, attention to detail, and honest dealing. Joe and his team are as good as it gets. Highly recommended!

Recent Review: Jason Hopson and Team did an exceptional job—-the best work quality I have experienced in 35 years and the most reasonable prices. He does what he says at the price he says period! He his the total skill set to build a house from the ground up. No one has skills like his. Nobody. I was having a heck of a time getting my back french doors rebuilt as a lot of the wood had rotted. These are custom doors. They could not be bought off the shelf. Nobody in Mobile AL had the carpentry skills to rebuild the french doors. Jason and team came down from Birmingham and did the job and now I get nothing but compliments on how beautiful they look. He also rebuilt our brick mailbox, the front porch columns, the fence, the front door, remodeled the kitchen and bathroom; replaced lighting, installed kitchen appliances, painted the interior and repaired the drywall. When hurricane Sally hit, he and hus team came back down from Birmingham to clear the huge fallen trees from my yard and roof, repair the roof, rebuilt the fence and gate, installed gutters and a french drain. Hopson and team did an outstanding job both times to the point he is now the Go To Man for any project I have. He is always on time, dependable, reliable, trustworthy and loaded with expertise. Recent Review: Owner arrived on time to review the damage, provide a quote and schedule a day and time for work to be performed the following week. The owner and his drywall professional arrived on time to review the damage, discuss repairs and confirm my expectations. The drywall professional,was very neat, quiet and wasted no time in completing the work in a timely manner. The completed repair work was superb. Unless one had seen the damaged ceiling, cannot see at all where the damage occurred. My wife, who has an eagle eye for minute details and almost always finds an issue with work I thought was excellent, agreed that the completed work was superb, We also agreed that we will definitely call on B&B Residential Services for other work needed in our home.
