Birmingham Gas Stove Repair

Professional and extremely knowledgeable! We thought we'd have to get a new gas stove top, but Mr. Appliance was able to repair ours for less than 1/3 the cost of a new stove top. I would definitely use them again!

They were pretty good. They could have charged me less. They knew what they were doing. They were competent and they got it fixed. I would recommend them. Their price was average.

Took the repairman 5 minutes to see the problem was a loose connection. That is why I thought the price was too high. I should not have had to pay anything but the service charge.

Repairman came and was able to fix a loose connection on the igniter. The cost was essentially the cost of the service call.

It was excellent! He was able to fix it within 2 hours. He was in clean cut, wore his uniform, and well spoken. Everything you could ask for!

Unfortunately the repair was going to cost nearly what a new stove would cost, so I opted to look for a new stove (I really wanted a new one anyway). Michael even tried to call an appliance dealer and get me a new stove the next day, but because it is gas, that is not possible. He was extremely polite, pleasant and went out of his way to help me. And to have someone to call that doesn't make you take a day from work and wait all day,is a blessing. In addition, you don't pay a high fee for nights and weekends.

My experience with Mr. Appliance Over The Mountain went well. They were fine, very good. They were friendly and professional.

I have always liked Sears. The technicians they send out have always been nice and polite to me. I have purchased all of my appliances from them. I paid for the warranty on a yearly basis and I was very pleased with that price. It was a good company.

Sears came out to service my stove because of an electrical failure and I didn t think that the warranty would cover it but they assured me they would be out to fix it. The next day someone from sears was at my door to fix the stove. They were in and out of the house very quickly and we have not had any problems since then.

They came here and there was noting wrong with my stove and they gave me a very big list. They made me order parts and I did that and they charged me $350 to repair something and then they said it is repaired, but it was not repaired and it has the same problem still there. I called them and I said I wanted to talk with the owner or the manager and they said he is going to call you back and he never did. He charged me for the service and then he also charged me for coming out. He also charged something extra, I do not remember what it was. He said that they needed to repair it further and he needed more parts. We have a GE Monogram gas stove. I then ordered the parts and he said that he is going to charge me almost close to $500 as to put in the parts that I have ordered and I said to him that I do not want to do that. I called the manufacturer's people, they came out and said that they can change the parts for me but there is nothing wrong with the stove at all. Since they had come out and I was going to pay them also, I said to them since I am paying you might as well change it. So, I got it changed. I like to tell other members that they should not hire these people at all. My impression about them is that they are out to cheat you and that is all I can say about them. I think they thought they could make money out of me as looking at the house they thought they can afford it, but that does not mean that even if the people who can afford it should be cheated like this. Initially, we wanted them to come and fix the pop-up downdraft that goes behind the stove, and that itself has not been fixed at all. I do not think that they are professionals, they made a company and they are just out here to cheat people.
