We hired JD Painting to paint literally every inside surface of our two-story, approximately 1900 square foot house that included walls, ceilings, doors, and trim. The entire job lasted 8 days with us inside the home. For anyone who doesn't have time to read the rest of this review the primary takeaway should be that they did an amazing job and made the process much easier than we expected. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone we know. Since we are living in the house with a two year old and two dogs the painting job required much more coordination than an empty house. So before they even started Joe formulated a plan on which rooms would be done on which days so we could prepare the night before. We tried to prepare rooms as well as we could, but each day Joe and his team would always have to help move furniture and rearrange our things that we missed or couldn't do on our own. They never complained or acted the least bit inconvenienced by doing non-painting work. Once the room was painted they would even put everything back where it originally was. They were extremely careful with all of our items and ensured all furniture and floors were covered. As for the actual painting, it was flawless. They were very thorough and patched all dings and holes in all walls and ceilings before painting. This included two extremely large ceiling patches due to a water leak and a large hole in a wall due to a bad DIY job. My wife and I can be somewhat perfectionists so we inspected every inch of the painted surfaces using flashlights from different angles to ensure it all looked great. The price was also as amazing as the quality of work. Before hiring JD we had 3-4 other estimates done that were substantially more. We were even a little bit hesitant since their price was so much lower, however, we had hired them before for a smaller job so knew what kind of professionals we were getting. The price and time to completion did not change at any point during the process and they stayed true to their estimate. We are completely thrilled with the results and consider ourselves very lucky to have been able to work with Joe and his team.

He was very helpful in selecting paint colors. I returned to find my home transformed to a brighter updated look. I was impressed with the excellent quality of the work. Our home had extensive carpentry repairs to be done, and days worth of prep work to be done before painting the exterior of our home. I had four different painters come out to our house, and Joe was by far the most professional, thorough, and knowledgeable. His pricing was also the most reasonable. Richard was quite responsive to our call, coming out the same day to provide an estimate. We discussed the work and he gave us a price and an approximate start date on the spot. We didn't get any other bids, but the price seemed quite reasonable and competitive. He called a few days later to say that he could start early, which we took him up on. it took a little longer than expected to get the job done,but he was still finished by the date that he originally promised. The patching/painting job looks great, and we are happy with the quality. Will recommend him to others.

We have hired Mike Bearden for three jobs now. He shows up quickly, charges a very fair price, and works quickly. Mike came out on the day I called him and gave an estimate for the job. They began work the next day. The house had a lot of chips in the external paint. They pressure washed, scraped, replaced damaged wood and shingles, and painted. They did a very good job and we are pleased.

I was very impressed with Joe and his crew - they did an absolutely beautiful job - our 100 year old house looks amazing! The crew was super nice, very professional, and obviously takes pride in their work. If you need someone to come paint the interior or exterior of your home, call Joe immediately! Joe had a full schedule when I called him about painting the interior of my home, but he wanted to come out and see what I had and give me a quote anyway. I'm glad he did. He worked around his own schedule and was able to begin work on my house the week after I got the quote. One IMPORTANT side note.... Before Joe was scheduled to begin work on my home, we had some pretty nasty cold weather come through the area. Through our discussions Joe knew we hadn't moved into the home yet and knew no one was staying there. Joe called me one evening to make some good recommendations on how to weather proof our home (drip faucets, turn heat up, hose bibb covers, etc) to ensure we didn't have any nasty surprises the next time we were there. Keep in mind this was BEFORE Joe had begun work on the property or before I had paid him a single nickel. This the kind of service you want from someone that's working on your HOME. Joe's price quote was extremely fair. Another highly rated company in the area quoted me a price that was 2.5 times what Joe quoted. Joe and his team were very punctual; they arrived when they said they would, and they cleaned up and left for the day when they said they would. His communication is top notch. If he's busy and cannot answer when you call, he will call you back. Finally, his quality of work leaves nothing to be desired. He recommended Behr Marquee for use in our home and we totally satisfied despite being Valspar Signature users in the past. I may even be a Behr man now! When it comes to your HOME, you always need to have "a guy." A "heating and AC guy", an "electrician guy", a "plumbing guy"... Joe is my "paint guy" and you won't be disappointed if you make him your paint guy too.

We were very pleased with the work performed. The crew was very professional and punctual. It rained a lot during the work, but they still managed to finish relatively quickly despite the weather. Our house has Masonite siding, which crumbles easily and we were concerned how it would fair with the prep work needed, but the crew did a wonderful job patching the siding and even threw in a bottom trim board around the house to help the edges. The paint job is great. I am very happy with the colors and the coats. The carpentry work on our back gable turned out great. I feel like I have a new house. I would use Estes again in the future and recommend them to anyone needing carpentry and paint work.
