Recent Review: Installing faucets were more money than originally estimated. However, newer plumbing could not be match with older plumbing. I was showed each time what the problems were before continuing service which I appreciated. The two plumbers that came were very professional and cleaned up after themselves.(Michael and Darryl). As for the price of job done, I have nothing to compare it with. You really do not know the repair cost until you break it down.

Recent Review: I have used this company in the past and was very happy with their service so decided to try them again. They were able to accommodate me the same day I called. The same gentleman came. He is very personable, helpful, and professional. He was here about an hour. The new faucet looks and works awesome. The area was completely cleaned up when he finished.

Recent Review: The new faucet, on the high pressure side of the water line, began to leak after a few weeks. They came back immediately and replaced it for free with a high pressure faucet. When we moved in February, the new house needed some work. We liked K Wood so much, we used them to run over $1,000 of gas lines in March 2014.

Recent Review: I have worked with Ben on numerous occasions, and he always does a fantastic job. He truly goes above and beyond! To fix the installation on the dishwasher he had to tear out some shoddy woodwork AND ground the dishwasher. Can you believe someone installed a dishwasher and didn't ground it? Unlike so many other people, Ben is always reliable and always on time. I would strongly recommend him!

Recent Review: Sam and his crew did a great job. I had contacted 3 or 4 other plumbers to get quotes on the work and their quotes were all about $100 higher than southeast plumbing. Sam showed up on time and got right to work. They re-taped the hot and cold water shut off valves, extended the PVC drain to fit the new sink, assembled and installed a new faucet, and hooked up the garbage disposal. Additionally they replaced the stainless steel trim in a shower tub. After they finished the work they filled the sink up to the top to make sure there were no leaks and cleaned everything up. I was very satisfied with the quality of work and the price.

Recent Review: Ron and CJ did an excellent job. We have used Punch list on several other jobs and once again they responded quickly with a thorough review of the work and a written estimate, kept their appointments, answered any questions and ensured we were satisfied with the work before getting paid.

Recent Review: The work took about six weeks to complete. Though John is not quick his work is exceptional in quality. He plays attention to details and will work with you to make sure the end result is exactly what you want. He contracts with experienced craftsmen and they were all very pleasant to the family. The only two points I would mention is the tile person is just that; a tile person. Do not expect an artisan. If you want the tiles laid in an order other than the order that they are stacked in the box you should lay them out before the tile person starts and explain up front that you expect a specific pattern. This is probably common practice and just ignorance on our part. However, John had the tile person redo some of the work at no extra charge. Also, the plummer reworked some of our pluming to accommodate changes with new faucets and re-positioning the sinks. He took the copper and replaced it with Pex Pipe which is fine. However, he did not give us the option of keeping the copper. We would have liked to have kept it as we are borderline hoarders. Overall we are very pleased with John's work and we have started phase two of our home improvement with him - Hardwoods and kitchen remodel. He is estimating phase three - front porch. I highly recommend John Mayhall/Building Bama.

Recent Review: For example, he just came to my house to replace a failing kitchen faucet. He recommended a reliable brand and even called his parts supplier to make sure that they gave me his 25% discount rate. I also thought that I needed to replace our master bath faucet which was going to be very expensive. I would have had to buy both faucets for the bathtub and then would have to replace all of the faucets and shower head etc. if I wanted them to match. He also told me that since it was a garden bathtub, he would have to actually cut out the side panel in order to access the faucet to remove and replace it. He told me that that would take a very long time and would therefore cost me more money. He then told me that he thought he could fix the faucet without replacing it. Previously, I had just assumed that we needed to replace it. He fixed it and I SAVED about $400.00 in new faucet costs! (No kidding!) He also evaluated what we thought was a big (house damaging) leak in our shower. He looked everything over and informed us that the water stains were dry and that they came from alot of water previously splashing on the floor of the bathroom. (Probably when one of my kids took a shower in there. :-) He could have told us that we needed to replace it and we would have assumed he was right but Mike is a very HONEST person and will always give you the best advice.

Recent Review: The men were prompt. Once the job began,They reported everyday!! Firt thing in the morning and stayed the duration of the day. They moved all the furniture and things that needed to be removed to get the work accomplished and replaced things back where they belong. No change was made before consuting me and there were several things that were thought of that I did not even think to ask for. They were very fair and honest with the pricing and were thorough and maintained cleanliness throughout the process.
