K&J RemodelingThe company was extremely professional yet personable, warm, and friendly, They did exactly what I asked and did it extremely well. They were very helpful with my indecisive self on picking out colors and they turned out beautiful!!! The 15 year old gym set on which they replaced any old wood and painted to blend yet contrast with the colors on the house looks amazing and brand new!!! They also replaced pieces of wood on the house snd porch that needed replacing. I have NO complaints only praise for this company. Ralph Bidwell ( Handyman )It helped save my life. I recently lost my Husband and his income. My air conditioner went out. My Windows are painted shut. So I thought about adding screens to the burglar iron doors. My Husband was the epitome of a Handyman. With him suddenly and unexpectedly dead and his income too, I felt helpless but not hopeless. I put a request in on Angie’s list. Got four calls. One couldn’t help. One I couldn’t afford. One kept promising to come but did not. But “Handyman” Bidwell Company made and kept an appointment with me, accessed the job, went and priced the cost, provided a reasonable cost that I could afford, accepted the job, made the frame and screens. Today I opened both the front porch and side Carport doors and let God’s breeze of fresh air circulate my lungs and my home, I feel pleased and wonderfully blessed to be able to breathe in my home especially since I suffer from acute asthma. Joel RhodesWe hired Joel to screen in our existing covered deck, which he did April 2-6, 2018. He and his crew did a fantastic job. They completely rebuilt the wooden components on the exposed three sides (that is, everything except the existing weight-bearing corner beams, ceiling/roof structure, and floor). They custom built all the screens with metal frames for 18 openings. They replaced the old screening in an area where custom-built screens would have been nearly impossible. They rebuilt/replaced portions of the deck that are outside of the screened-in area and thus had incurred excessive weathering and damage over the years. They installed a storm door. They power washed the entire deck and stained it in two solid colors of our choice (except for the ceiling, which we asked them to leave as is). Joel was 100% reliable and incredibly easy to work with. He was on site for the entire project, and he and his crew were skilled, efficient, and friendly. They cleaned up at the end of each day and at the end of the project (when the work was completed, it was hard to tell they had ever been here). Joel went way above and beyond, with excellent craftsmanship, exacting attention to detail, and obvious pride in his work. We got the distinct feeling that Joel was treating our project with the same passion and perfectionism that he would were he working on his own deck at home. We are absolutely thrilled with the result every single day, and we wholeheartedly recommend Joel.- KERRY S.

ANDY OnCall BirminghamI have used them before several times. I spent $5800 totally on the job. They washed the exterior trim and windows, as needed prior to painting. They scraped all lose paint and lightly sanded, as needed. They caulked and primed, as needed and applied custom-matched paint to cover all exterior trim and windows. They replaced, probably, about 10 window panes that had cracks. They cleaned up and removed all debris. I didn?t have any problems with their clean-up. They made me very happy with the screened porch. They provided the labor and materials to re-screen the porch. Initially, the plan was to install new screen mould and repaint the screen framing and to use pet screening for the screening material. Once they started on the job, it didn?t make sense to paint the old frame that was there. So, they installed a new frame and didn?t charge me any extra amount apart the original quote. I like them because they are very dependable. If I give them feedback, they accept it and do what I want. They always listened to what I had to say and they did what I wanted done. John is the owner of the company. He has the same staff and he pays them well enough to make a decent living. This ensures that their work is of high quality and because of this, they are a little expensive. They are coming out again shortly.- Julie L.

I worked with Cole Jones in getting a quote for our roof. Cole was responsive, on time, and thorough with his appointment, inspection and sitting down with us about the condition of the roof and options for a roof replacement. Sandy followed up with scheduling the roof replacement and all the paperwork which was in fantastic order. Blair showed up on the job, arranged for good weather (just kidding) and did what they said they would do when they said they would do. The knowledge, expertise and quality was evident at the end and we are very satisfied with our roof. It has been four months and not a single leak and they also replaced our gutters. It was a pleasure working with them.

We own a home-based business and rely heavily on our computers operating appropriately. We initially hired Eric a couple of years ago to service our computers when he was offering a Big Deal on Angie's List. He did not show up for our initial meeting. After trying to contact him several times, he finally responded and said that he had been on vacation and his schedule got messed up. We gave him the benefit of the doubt and agreed to have him look at our computers that needed serviced. He fixed the problems we were having. We thought at the time that he did a good job, so we agreed to retain him on a service contract and pay his monthly fee of $20. The fee was automatically charged to our credit card each month, and whenever we had issues with our computers, we would contact Eric to service them. Eric did fix the problems, HOWEVER, NEVER DID ERIC RESPOND WITHOUT US HAVING TO CONTACT HIM REPEATEDLY. His lack of response became quite frustrating over the years, and we would discuss our frustrations with him. Eric always told us that he would try to work harder to respond in a more timely manner, but never really improved much. A few weeks ago we were having issues with our computers, and we tried repeatedly contacting Eric via text messages, phone calls and voice mails. HE NEVER RESPONDED. HE APPARENTLY HAS LEFT US HIGH AND DRY WITHOUT ANY KIND OF NOTIFICATION. Eric had the skills to service our computers, but he lacked consideration and respect for us as his customers. We found him to be unreliable and unprofessional due to his lack of response. We would never recommend Eric or his company to anyone.
