Clare V. started with the perfect laptop case—specifically, a search for one. It was founder Clare Vivier's frustration at the absence of stylish computer sleeves while she was working as television journalist in 2006 that spurred her to design a collection of playful leather handbags, tech pouches, and the highly covetable Clare V. clutches. Manufactured start-to-finish in LA, the label combined an irresistible mix of Parisian influence and everyday functionality that quickly garnered a huge following. It wasn’t long until its offerings grew to include other accessories as well, followed a line of superbly soft T-shirts emblazoned with cheeky French phrases.
