Went well. Crew showed up on time, were friendly, and after a quick look and talk, they got right to work. However, they showed up with no drawing, and thought they were doing the entire house. I had to show them my copy of the drawing that was done at the time of the bid. We are very happy with the way it all looks. One disappointment: The owners have not called to see how it went, or if we're happy with the service.

The job turned out OK but the installer had a bad attitude and wasn't flexible to listening to the customer's request. The first rainfall revealed the new gutters leaking in two places. The same installer came out. He wouldn't listen to my explanations and proceeded to repair as he was accustomed to. Now, one gutter is again leaking right in front of my entrance door. The company no longer answers the phone and doesn't return calls. I contacted the owner on his personal cell. He agreed to come out yesterday afternoon (1-12-21) but didn't show up. I'm going to have to pay someone else to repair their sloppy work. DON'T CALL THESE PEOPLE FOR ANYTHING. The will take your money and run. They still have an Angie's List logo on their paperwork indicating that Angie's List endorses them. I certainly hope not.

JP ConstructionJP Construction was a great choice. Jon (owner) came out on two different occasions to understand the scope of the project and answer all our questions. He was punctual and very knowledgeable. The contract, invoice, and payment process are all electronic and easy to use. The crew was fantastic and have been working with JP for 10+ years. They were friendly and genuinely wanted us to be happy with the job. Our project included a lot of detailed trim that we wanted to match from the original 30's construction and crew lead worked with us to find the perfect solutions to ensure we were happy with the results. Matthew Lorand RoofingI needed a new roof, but kept putting it off, knowing it would be a difficult project. Because my home is old, it required the removal of 2 existing roofs--the original 70+yr old cedar shakes covered with a 40-year old roof of old shingles, all on top of a very steep-pitched roof. This job required re-decking the roof, reinforcing the wooden beams in the attic, and installing radiant barriers. Because of the age of the roofs interior framing and the very limited space and roof access I requested the hand-carrying of all materials to roof, tarping and protecting the attic A/C, and care of outside plants. My bid included the application of a hand-rolled silicon sealant on the flat roof of a porch, as well as gutters around the house. I have lush gardens all around my property, often showcased in magazines. Having converted my driveway into theme gardens, there was little space left for trailers and debris. Matthew Lorand Roofing & Restoration did an incredible job! No plants were trampled and the cleanup from this job was impeccable. Proprietor Jason Joseph was on hand to make sure that everything went smoothly and he helped me choose a beautiful Owens Corning Duration shingle in designer color of Merlot, they also added with vent ridges to cool the attic. They also handled all the documentation and paperwork with my insurance company Central Mutual, I was so happy to not have to do any paperwork on my claim they did it all from start to finish. The crew worked non-stop, efficiently and cordially. They did a fabulous job in just a few days, restoring the integrity of a Rosedale cottage with their fine craftsmanship and hard work. @Ease!I can't say enough about @EASE! Hugo has been helpful, informative and responsive. They just finished my roof and based on the quality and professionalism of that job I have already contracted with them to repair my siding. I am not experienced in home repair and improvement. When my roof was damaged by ice and hail I didn't know what to do. I was able to make a claim with my insurance and that was good. I knew I needed to get bids for the repairs, but I didn't know how I would evaluate those bids. The insurance company referred me to a company. They came and gave me a slick folder with samples and they never completed the quote. Another contractor came and he was great, but the first thing he asked for was our settlement paperwork. @EASE! was honestly a shot in the dark, I simply liked what their website said and so I called. Hugo has been amazing. He has provided the quality I needed and the expertise I wanted at a cost that is reasonable. He has taken time to explain the work that needs to be done and I can trust his advice as what is best for my home and my family.- Jana B.
