Greensboro Faucet Repair

I had my in-laws in town and the shower broke on a Sunday morning. Needless to say, I needed the shower repaired ASAP. I called PPS at 9:40am and they were at my house around 11am. The plumber, James, couldn't have been more polite or professional. The charges were very reasonable (flat rate fee that we were told prior to any service being performed) for coming out on a Sunday morning and he had the shower fixed in 30 minutes. I will certainly recommend PPS to my friends in the area, and if you want especially great service be sure to ask for James.

THEY ARE VERY GOOD AT KEEPING APPOINTMENTS AND GETTING OUT IN TIME. THEY ARE VERY GOOD TO DEAL WITH AND THEY HAVE GREAT FOLLOW UP. MR. DICKERSON HIMSELF HAS BEEN VERY HELPFUL IN GETTING A FAUCET ISSUE RESOLVED WITH KOHLER.

Even on a ugly rainy day, they arrived on time. We reviewed the job of replacing two indoor faucets and an exterior faucet. It was reasonably priced and the job was done in a very timely manner. I'll definitely use their services again.

Well done with a good attitude. Corrected work recently done by an expert and replaced a 30 year old high pressure reducer valve. Reason for the delay on the report is that after the repairman left we had a problem with our Watts RO water system. The return water line was moved 22 1/2 degrees from the correct position, believe the cause was the saddle was not tightened enough by another plumber that put in the system about 7 months ago. Since we have had a valve to fail from a previous Watts system it may be the Watts saddle, will keep a check on position of the return line. No mess, no leaks and everything is working fine. Will call for our next plumbing opportunity.

Well, checked everything out, asked questions about level of services needed and went to work quickly and efficiently. Checked all sinks, showers and toilets. Repaired kitchen sink plumbing and replaced faucets. Also replaced float tank unit and missing shower heads.

I had a major water leak somewhere, so I could no longer postpone bringing in a plumber. I also had the typical dripping faucets and running toilet. I picked Pro-Plumbing based on their reviews. They arrived shortly after 9am. After determining that there was a leak between the meter and the house, Thad offered to repair the leak or replace the whole water main. Since money is tight, I opted for the repair. Unfortunately, the leaking continued. Thad did a great job explaining the repair options and potential outcomes, and when the first repair wasn't enough to stop the water leak I was only charged for the replacement of the main. I have a toilet that I've tried to repair, and he worked on that at no charge to determine that it's not fixable. He fixed 2 dripping bathtub faucets. Since he was here, I had the bathroom sink faucets replaced because they were corroded. He and one other guy worked until it was dark outside, but when they left I had running water and no leaks!

Two men came to perform work. One relit water heater pilot. The other attempted to tighten a kitchen sink faucet; in the process he damaged the faucet and said he could not repair faucet and would have to replace it. We subsequently called PF Plumbing who sent a man out who repaired the faucet in short order and charged us less money than John's.

Called when promised. Arrived when promised. Was professional, polite and didn't waste any time getting right to the issues. Provided advise to avoid future issues and in no way tried to sell me what I didn't need. In fact told me to return the garbage disposal we had specially ordered. Was actually shocked by the cost and even my husband remarked that it was much lower than expected. Good people and I highly recommend them!

Richard Knapp (local Mr. Rooter) was right on time for the service call. He assessed the situation and provided an esimate that was acceptable to me. He did point out that the intallation cost would be less if he was not installing a customer-provided fixture. Of course my warehouse club fixture was more inexpensive than the Mr. Rooter fixture. The installation was competed during that service call and the job was very professional. Even though he did not provide the fixture, he took the time to examine the product warranty and explain in clear terms the manufacturer's coverage. He cleaned-up the work area after installation and did wear protective "booties" when working in the house. I will definitely call him when future plumbing work is needed.
