ABBA General ContractingABBA demolished my substandard, detached garage and constructed a new carriage-style garage, a mudroom, and a screened patio. The project turned out great, and I continue to get compliments from my neighbors. Carl and Joe were super to work with; I always knew they were dealing in good faith to provide me exactly what I needed and wanted, and at a fair price, without the hassle of contract amendments for each realtime change of plan. For example, I had not considered the benefits of having a sliding glass door access from my living room onto the new porch. They continuously advised me about things I had not considered, such as the best direction for doors to open, the best locations of windows, three-way light switches, etc. I heartily encourage anyone with a remodeling or construction project to talk to ABBA--you will be impressed.- Larry G.

Home Remedy LLCExcellent! Now I have a 1000 square foot garage and plenty of room to park, work, and play. We had them extend the existing slab, knock out the rear wall and roof, and tie in the new structure to match the existing. It's very difficult to see where the old garage ends and the new addition begins. I will now be able to have a work area, room to park our two cars, yet still have room to move around, and all under one roof. I couldn't be happier with this project. Home Remedy LLCThe project went very well. The workers were all very professional and definitely skilled and qualified to do their part of the job. We asked for a few changes (those things you don't realized until something is already completed!) and they changed everything we asked for. The shed they built is incredible...probably better constructed than many new homes ! This is the second big project (deck and patio) we have used Home Remedy for. They are excellent and the owner, Mike Crigler is wonderful to work with. We will most definitely use this company for any projects we do in and around our home and highly recommend them.- Roseann S.

Home Remedy LLCExcellent. I have tried two different contractors in the past, and both times I had HORRIBLE experiences -- horrible. By that, I mean, messed up jobs, ridiculous over-purchasing, awful mishaps, unresponsiveness and extended timelines. A friend of mine recommended Home Remedy (Dennis Chernov, specifically), and it has been a totally different experience. When I redid the garage apartment kitchen and bathroom I had strict timelines that had to be met (my tenant was still living there, and I could put her out only so long), and both times they met them -- even with a couple of "unforeseen" circumstances (which will always happen). The quality of the workmanship was excellent, too. If you want a reasonably priced, high quality, enjoyable contractor experience, this is the company to work with, and Dennis is the guy to get. (Plus, he is Johnny-on-the-spot when it comes to responding to texts and emails -- and I send a LOT of them.) Highly, highly recommend these guys.- Mary Michael T.

Home Remedy LLCMke and company came in and demolished the existing garage, procured plans and permits, poured a new foundation and built the completely new structure. They sub-contacted the electrical, garage doors and HVAC. The results were fantastic. The structure is a tank. It has an extremely strong foundation and structure. The finish work was beyond my expectations. The subs all did a great job. It is my new man cave, workshop and 3 car garage with a lift installed. It met and exceeded all my expectations. The crew was professional and courteous. they took care of the details and did not nickel and dime me for small changes.- Jeffrey L.

Initially all seemed to start out well. Christ Juarez, Remodeler was communicating with me, but then it stopped. He started the job but then I would get excuses why he couldn't come out to work on my project. This went back and forth and needless to say he didn't finish the job. At some point he wouldn't respond to my text and/or email messages. And finally when he did, I had had enough of him. THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU HIRE THIS COMPANY
