Terrible Support

Terrible Support! Signed up for the Reseller Pro, paying about 500 pounds and even more lately and the support is like non-qualified non-skilled people! Charging bank transfers where the system is failing and not working and the support is non-existing. Calling on the phone, been transferred from Sales to Billing to 3rd to 4th team and ending up no where. Emailing Reseller Support Team, promising to answer within 72 hours, but actually 250 hours later they answer with no progress to the issue. Emailing gag and api support and got no response from them, not even bothering to say a single hello.... Ending up loosing 180 GBP and they claiming to not see it, nor even attempt or asked about the payment reference nor anything!

Highly recommend you not to use their domain registrar or support! If you ever ever signed up for GoDaddy and have a chance of leaving them, DO IT, immediately! Otherwise, just use their servers but for domain provider, look for any other but not GoDaddy. You will end up in debt and losing money instead of earning money and receiving what you paid for.

Exceptionally poor information and support

I'm attempting to list some domains for sale through GoDaddy Auctions. However, the setup information and help resources are exceptionally poor, leaving no option but to contact GoDaddy support, which has so far been unresponsive. This is despite endless messages on their phone support line stating that they offer excellent support - it's a pity that they don't put as much effort into providing genuine quality support as they do into their over-hyped marketing.

THE FIRST GOLDEN RULE IS TO INVEST

I recently spent money on this service and the loss totally wasn't worth it. But investing that same amount on Lucht. co was incredibly profitable. It's a Drone company that's insured against loss. Lucht Technology Ltd (lucht. co) is a well-known name in the Drone Industry. Incorporated with resistance in all major markets.

Dont use their domain name brokerage service!

I paid a non-refundable $160 fee for domain name brokerage services. This is an addition to the 20% commission they would charge if I actually bought a domain through them. I heard absolutely nothing back and then contacted them via chat the next day. They told me my broker had tried to contact me via email. I said i have not received any email and then they said, oh actually they are trying to contact the seller and will be back to you soon. This exchange via chat took 20 minutes of my time. A week later I had heard absolute nothing still. Their website contained no evidence of my order/status other than I could see a receipt for my purchase with no option to check status. Under "my products" it said "you have no products yet". I then called their customer support and when I finally connected with someone they told me they were going to get my broker on the line. I was put on hold with music for a few minutes. Then the music stopped but my line still showed that I was connected so I stayed on the line for another 10 minutes. However the line was still silent and nobody ever came back so eventually I just hung up. Not sure what else to do at this point.

Overall great. Would like somethings to be even easier for the layman but overall makes working on the website fairly straightforward.

Don't go there unless you want someone else to snap up your business name as soon as you enter it into their search engine

I have a unique business name which is Trade Marked and I have been using it as a sole trader for more than ten years. I decided to look into buying the domain name - it was free but I wanted to research the options with .com, etc and how many I should buy. Go Daddy alone had soon suggested over £300-worth of domain names I might need to shore up my global online presence. Imagine my surprise when I returned to Go Daddy to buy my unique business name and discovered that the .com had been snapped up the day I entered it on the Go Daddy domain search - and if I want to buy it now I will have to pay a Go Daddy broker £89 to try and negotiate buying it, even though it is my intellectual property and unique. It is hardly likely anyone else would have thought of it. So this is what happens when you have a unique business name and you use Go Daddy to look into buying the .com and all the other suffixes they have invented these days - for some reason your .com is "bought" the very day you create it and you need to pay a broker to try and buy it for you, even though the name is your own intellectual property. This is the sort of practice that used to take place in the days of dial up and was supposed to have been sorted out. Some are still living in the cowboy days of the Internet, it seems. I have tried to contact Go Daddy but their frontline customer services is a bot. Or maybe bot.com. Fortunately i already own my own name .com or I have a feeling Go Daddy would have been onto that before I had finished entering it on their website. Just avoid.com unless you want your intellectual property harvested, it seems. Because that is exactly how it seems.

After I received a response from Go Daddy I just want to add that Go daddy was the first site I checked on. I was offered every name but the one I wanted and accepted one with a hyphen, which suggests that the .com was appropriated by an automated bot as soon as I entered it on the Go Daddy site.
