Trouble with sump pump. Mike arrive and inspected. Needed to have pumped to actually determine if he could repair or have to replace. He contacted a restoration company to pump out sump pump. The company arrived in about 45 minutes. It took about an hour to complete the pumping and about 20 minutes to determine it needed to be replaced. Mike called his office and had another plumber pick up and bring the sump pump to cut down on the time and make sure it was picked up before the company closed that sells the sump pump. After the newone was installed mike did a check to make sure it was working properly and phoned the following day just to check in and make sure everything was fine. Great service, very knowledgeable and great followup.

The service was good but I have learned that the price was OUTRAGEOUS. I contacted Schuelke Twin Plumbing to repair or replace a sump pump in my garage/basement. I am not in a position to do the work to fix or replace a sump pump so I had to call a plumber. I was charged approximately $1,900 to install a new 1 HP sump pump. The time required was about 2-1/2 hours. I have since searched the web and cannot find a residential 1 HP sump pump that costs more than $875 and most are below this price. There are pumps with battery back up that are less expensive. Even allowing for the cost of installation, the $1,904 price was so unreasonable as to not be believed.

Did not do a particularly good job. The slow drain in the bathroom became slow again in about a month and we were told that we would have to pay to have it cleared again. The repairman told me that our sump pump outside was broken and quoted me a price of more than $700 to replace it (parts and labor) but it turned out that the sump pump was not broken after all. I got the feeling that they were trying to cheat me; it's fortunate I checked on the sump pump with someone else.

The tenant who lives there reported that the sump pump was not discharging water properly so I researched Angie's list and found a plumber who is located near the property. In speaking with the plumber ,Bobby Lott, I wanted to make sure he would explain what was being done wrong and "show and tell" with my tenants so they do not inadvertantly create a problem. He did the "show and tell" and explained what was being done right and what alternatives there are. He also replaced the sump pump, the check valve and provided a proper discharge pipe. He then emailed me the bill promptly.
