All Star Appliance RepairI called John shortly before I purchased appliances for my newly re-modeled kitchen. I was afraid installation may not be straight forward since the kitchen had a slightly different footprint than before. He asked me a lot of questions about the appliances I was purchasing, and also came out before they arrived and did an estimate for installation. I really appreciated that he took the time to review the specifics of my installation. because I was up against a tight deadline to get the dishwasher installed before the floor was finished, I let a big box retailer try to do the installation. When they got there, I was told I should not have had an outlet installed for the dishwasher, because it took up too much room. I wanted them to change the wall outlet to a hardwire connection. The big box retailer was not able to do any electrical, so they left me with the dishwasher and no installation. I called John, and he was a able to come out the same evening , after hours , and finished the installation of the dishwasher, and mircrowave. He was able to do the hardwire connection on the dishwasher that the big box retailer was not. The cost for installation was about the same, but well worth it. The big box retailers are not able to do any small adjustments to plumbing or electrical when needed, where is John is. I also had John come back and do some handyman work. He put a safety bracket on my stand alone electric range, installed vanity mirror, light, bathroom fixtures, fixed closet rollers. He was very good about making sure things were where I wanted them, and that they were level and centered. I was really relieved to have him come through and take care of the rest of the repairs I needed done to get my condo on the market. He did a very thorough job and prices were very reasonable. I am very happy that I found John and would highly recommend him for appliance installation, repair or other handyman work.- Julie G.

It went great and now the cabinet door stays closed. Kitchen Plus did a complete remodel of the kitchen in 1997. They replaced the drawers and cabinets, built a kitchen island and a tall matching storage cabinet. They have all been wonderful through the years. One hinge broke and Mike came today to replace the broken hinge and also others that were questionable. Now all the doors close so well. Mike did a great job and is very pleasant.

Jesus fixed the burner. Just $65 Dishwasher was broken due to tenants not utilizing for 2 years. Jesus offered to repair but for a few extra dollars I determined it would be best to invest in a new one. Jesus installed for $100. Since it took me a day to buy a new dishwasher, Jesus trusted me to take care of the bill all at once - 1 day after fixing the burner. I gave him a $10 tip on the day he fixed the burner but when he came back to install the dishwasher he was willing to apply the $10 tip to the total bill. Very nice but I insisted that was his tip for the first day. I gladly gave him an additional tip for the dishwasher install, and for fitting me in his busy schedule. Nice guy and great work!

Not the best way to start a Saturday. Water was puddling in my yard near my front porch. I was able to find the leak in my water line after a some digging, but I thought it would be impossible to get someone to come on a Saturday afternoon to repair the line. Called Ideal and was very impressed at how helpful and responsive they were on the phone. Rob was at my house late in the afternoon and quickly fixed the line. Great customer service from everyone and Rob did a really beautiful repair. Everything was done and water was back on in time to still make dinner! Very impressed!

I called Mike to replace the dishwasher detergent dispenser on our 11 year old Frigidaire dishwasher. I also asked him to check some problems we were having with a "ghost" in our machine (dishwasher would start, run for a minute or two, then stop - or dishwasher would start without anyone even near the machine)! Mike came out, inspected the dishwasher, diagnosed the "ghost" problem (needed a new control board) and estimated all repairs to be in the several hundred dollar range, enough to purchase a new dishwasher. We opted to buy a new dishwasher instead. Mike does repairs only, not installations; otherwise, we would hire him to install the new dishwasher we're about to order. Mike is the owner and sole employee of his business, so you might not get a response from him right away (it says so right on his website) but he is worth the wait. Very honest and reasonably priced.
