in terms of the actual move they were very good although not punctual. but if you're a business owner and need receipt for their service they wont provide it.

The staff arrived at our apartment on time and they were all wearing masks. They handled all of our furniture, appliances and personal belongings with care. I was impressed of how quick they assembled, disassembled and packed our stuff. Upon arriving at our new place, they asked us how and where our furniture and appliances should be placed and they made sure that everything is in order before they left.

NorthStar moving company made our move as smooth as a move can be. They were on time, worked hard and fast, everything arrived in one piece and the cost estimate was accurate. Not sure what else you could ask for!

We hired them for a local move. The coupon was great. They did a good job. They were a little late, but they called and it wasn't a big deal.

The move went well. The movers were on time, quick, and careful. I plan on using them again for more of our moving needs.

These guys are awesome! They are fast and easy to work with! They came on time and took care of everything. They three guys that came were very nice and easy to talk to, and they got started right away. End of the day these guys are the best moving experience I’ve ever had.

Called California Movers in the last minute since another mover screwed in last minute as truck won't start delayed my whole move... but glad I called California Movers next which ended up being SUPER, job DONE, relaxed.

It was fine. They were really friendly. They were interested in giving quality at a good price. I know them because they are my neighbors. They treated me really good and I'm sure they treat all their customers really good. Their prices are very reasonable.

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! BEWARE! Where to begin... I guess the beginning, I spoke with Randy, nice enough guy, told be the history of the company, whey they are better than others, and their pricing is lower because they do not outsource to other movers, that they do all the work themselves and they are local.. All sounded great to me! Randy was very easy to work with he called back when requested, and even provided a quote over the phone! I expressed my concern that no other company does this, that they want to come out, he assured me as long as there were no extra items at the time of the move, it would be right on the money. I called twice to add more than originally stated and he was able to give me the updated amount.. All seemed good to go.. fast forward to moving day. The movers were to arrive at 1pm, they did not get to our house until 6, they said they were stuck at another job..at 8pm, they stopped working and stated they would have to come back the next day to finish...the nightmare begins to unfold.. the mover stated that I had double of what was originally noted and that the price was going to be a lot more than what was quoted...so here we are they have half of my belongings on the truck, and I am now backed into a corner to either pay double of what was quoted or they are not coming back..(Hostage situation) I felt I had to choice I had to give the ok, or who knows what would have happened to my things. I tried calling Randy several times, left messages, emails, and nothing back from him to this day (Classic Bait and Switch). Day 2..the fun continues, they get the rest of our things and are supposedly in route to our final destination. They are to arrive in 12 days..(cross country Move) on day 12 I call as I have not heard from anyone, supposedly the truck had broke down in Missouri.. no call, no warning of being late, nothing. But things happen, so we wait..and wait..and wait..it is now day 18, and they will be here in 2 days. A completely different moving company show's up..they were a total mess, (although friendly!) they left all the moving blankets because he didn't want to unwrap them(the only good thing out of all this, we have 20 moving blankets!) our antique desk has been dismantled into three pieces, and the wood is split, all of our dishes and platters have been shattered, three mirrors shattered, our shark vacuum is missing, our entire patio set is missing (we got the cushions however!) the back of a chair is missing..and we received the legs for a table that is not ours, as well as 5 rugs that are not ours...I called Randy the manager, he stated he would work with us to issue a claim with their insurance company, Fair enough, I issued the claim, and have heard nothing in return..I have tried calling the insurance company, and emailing as well, with no return call, in fact no way of actually speaking with a live person.. and no email response. I Emailed Tony explaining this, he was to reach out to them and get back to me with a resolution, and now of coarse he has gone missing as well, will not call back, or respond to my emails. We have since replaced the vacuum, and bought new dishes, but are left saddened by the experience, We try to support local business as much as possible, and I am not one to leave bad reviews as things happen, and sometimes you cannot control that, but as a business you can however control how you respond to these situations. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy and I hope for your sanity and wallet that you pass them up for your moving needs.

The movers were great. I only had one item that was kind of damaged that I didn’t care too much about. The movers were professional. They came when they said they would. I would recommend them.

He was the best mover of pianos I have ever seen and I/ve had pianos moved several times. Excellent mover, knowledgeable and careful with your things.

The owner is really good but some of his people are not. We have used them a couple of times and the usual crew was very good. They have a couple of occasional workers that weren?t so good. They were not that careful moving and did not do what they were asked. They were not just that careful with the stuff and it depended on who I got. I did have them pack a shipping container and they did not do such a good job packing. Some of the glass stuff broke inside and they kept telling me that they knew how to tie them up. They did not do such a great job. I have heard horror stories about moving companies, and I have no horror stories about these guys. They just nicked a couple of pieces of furniture. The owner was very responsive. He went out of his way to make sure I had someone on the date that he promised even though he messed up on the scheduling. He had overbooked for that day and so he went and found someone that he knew who could fill in. He split up his experienced team, so I got an experienced person and a temporary person and they tended to work together. One guy was half an hour late. The price was competitive. I don?t think there is anyone better around here. I would probably use them in the future.

Everything was smooth from start to finish. I'm glad I found this website. This made moving, a dreaded process so much more pleasant than I expected.

Crew chief met challege getting big furniture up stairs but scratched several areas of wooden floors. We offered food to take for his guys but he kept saying his kids would really like it and would be very happy. We think he kept it for himself. Not nice!

This was the most seamless move that I’ve ever had. California Movers and their team work so efficiently and fast, they completed my move in under the amount of allotted time. They also were very careful and diligent with my furniture, making sure everything was wrapped and placed where we wanted it once we arrived. When I moved into my old apartment, the movers for some reason had a hard time getting the couch on the elevator, which caused it to rip along the back. California Movers and their team carefully wrapped my sofa and was able to get it on the elevator with no problem. I highly recommend California Movers.

I hired these guys to move our company office to a new location. One of my close friend told me about them. These guys showed up with a truck (yes the trucks are awesome like everyone says). They worked hard and didn’t even flinch at some of the challenges we threw at them. So happy I hired Fairprice Movers. Thanks a lot for such an amazing experience.

They were great. I have absolutely only good things to say about them. They called to let me know that they would be just a little late. They were well organized, quick and very pleasant. The move out of my apartment to my new place was quick and done very satisfactorily. They are very good and reliable. They price was comparable to other places that I called.

The movers called an hour before they arrived and was very fast and efficient. All the movers were friendly and clearly knew that they were doing. Very accomodating.

The three movers were excellent and went to great lengths to move a refrigerator up a narrow staircase with a tight turn. Please pass this message along to the three movers.
