Just Mowing
The one time they came out...they came out at 10 am on Wed which I had specified when I hired them. A crew of 3 came out and did a decent job. So I was contented....when they failed to show up yesterday and told me they cut my grass last week I was a little upset. I called yesterday when they didn;t show up and the person I talked to assured me that they would be out there to cut my grass even if they had to do it close to sun set.Well, they never showed up so I called again today, and there rep tells me that they cut my grass last week. I had to stop him and correct him. I told him I cut my own grass last week and that they are mistaken.He kept insisting they cut my grass...so I was not going to argue with him...so I ended my services with Just Mowing. I am not saying they are a bad company, but don't argue with the customer...it is insulting...I know when I cut my grass and when you guys are suppose to come out. That is why I am paying you. They need to fix their data base because it is off.

Mr Mow Lawn Care
Dave from Mr. Mow saved the day for us. After waiting for another mowing service to come for 3 days to mow our new sod, the other service sent 2 nice guys, but their mowers ate up chunks of our sod. After another failed attempt by other service to come a few days later to use a push-mower to carefully mow our new sod, I called Mr. Mow. Dave promptly squeezed us in and got us on a regular schedule. He carefully mowed the new sod without issue and continued weekly service after that.

My husband and I were looking for a new landscaping/lawn work service. The one we previous had just wasn't cutting it. I looked around a lot and decided to go with Green Valley Services. I am so happy that we did! Gabriel was very responsive to my initial phone call and quickly made an appointment to review our needs and go over his services. He is very friendly and professional. We really needed a good overhaul and clean up of the front and back yard, which included taking down and removal of a very large tree. He listened to all our needs. Was honest and fair about how much work was necessary and what the cost would be for the initial work and then for monthly maintenance. He was even conscientious enough to coordinate our service day with our local trash/yard waste pick up. In addition to all of this, the work he and his crew did (and do) is very good. Our yard looks amazing and I am very happy with the service. I would definitely recommend Green Valley Services.

Brian's Tractor Service
Brian was very responsive answering my initial phone call the first time I tried him. We set a time for him to come mow the tall weeds on my 1.5 acre hillside property and he showed up on time ready to go. The service was performed quickly and effieciently at the agreed upon price. Was looking for lawn and yard maintenance crew. Looked at Angies list and saw this group. Had high ratings and favorable reviews so I requested an estimate. Seemed to know what he was talking about so hired him back in July. Never seen a crew do the work in a short amount of time and leave. I guess that's where they get the term mow and blow. Sloppy work, cut my drip lines when trimming bushes. Mentioned problems but not improving. Will probably let them go. Disappointed in my first use of Angie's list.

Ted did my yard for about a year he did exactly what was asked..no extra and sometimes less, then he didnt show up at all in April ,my yard looked like it was abandoned, I called him and he said that he had cut his hand and should make it out the next week. I was a little perturbed that he didn't let me know and that I had to call him. He never showed up the next week, I emailed him again, he said he'd be out on Monday, again he did not show up...very unprofessional..I found another Gardner for the same price and does twice the amount of work.

Sid arrived for the initial estimate as promised (Saturday @ 7am). After showing him my front and back yard, he was hired on the spot. He is professional, knowledgeable and a really nice guy. Recent Review: They basically do the mowing, and always cut my roses back, and trim the bushes for me. They do all this extra work when they are only here to mow, its great. They are not the type that just come in, cut the grass, and leave. You always get more than you pay for.
