When I called Prolocksmith I got a dispatch person who seemed to be working from home. She was quick in trying to connect me with someone to do the work. Referred me to discuss rate and other specifics with the locksmith who would be performing the work. The actual locksmith called me within 5 minutes and indicated that he would be at my place in 20 minutes. I had to interrupt him to tell him what type of lock was on my door. Also when I asked about rates, he said that he would not be able to tell until he was there and I could opt out at that time. Locksmith who showed up was with another company and did not know anything about Angieslist. He tried to give me some sort of a discount but said the software on his smartphone would not let him. Upside, he arrived within 30 minutes. Downside, cost $272 and I am not sure what company opened my door but it was not the licensed Prolocksmiths.

Nathan showed up on time on the same Saturday that I called, for rekeying the security door bolt lock, since we had lost one set of keys. He advised me to rekey the deadbolt on the inner, stouter door, and charged only slightly more. Excellent service!

I cannot recommend enough! Our project included a kitchen remodel, new flooring, and recessed lighting throughout the home. The final result exceeded our expectations and has made our newly purchased home more functional, as well as more comfortable. The project was completed in lightning speed (~40% faster than original quote, which was reasonable to begin with), but certainly without compromising on quality. Everything turned out beautiful!

Greg noticed that one of my doors had extreme dry rot around the frame and I told him that I was desperate to get that repair made ASAP. Greg installed a brand new Anderson Coastal sliding glass door ASAP. So glad I called Greg especially after this rainy season. I couldn't have waited a week longer - seriously! He efficiently solved my problem. Greg worked with me all the way through the project and I couldn't recommend his services highly enough!

I highly recommend Josh Matus from SC Home Repair. We needed to have a ceiling replaced in a closet after it was damaged by water. The plumber who originally fixed the leak cut out the ceiling to fix the leak, but was not able to reinstall it. We hired Josh to replace the ceiling. He did an excellent job. He was punctual and polite, and kept me looped in on the entire project. He got my sign-off on all of his decisions and ran pricing by me when he needed to buy supplies. He knew exactly what he was doing. Josh finished the job quickly in two days and did excellent work while paying attention to detail. I would certainly hire him again!

Darrin fixed an increasingly problematic front door mortise lock. Works swell now; it was a toughie. He also fixed two other outside door locks that had been iffy. Prior repairman who had installed the locks and doors didn't do a great job. Now we have working and locking doors. Spiffy. I thought the price was very reasonable. He was professional and knowledgeable. Will hire him again for any lock issues. I wish I had done this over a year ago instead of dreading it (afraid we would have to replace the locks or doors).

I owned a 6 units apartment complex in Berkeley California having old mailboxes with old keys and/or old key blanks that could not be found and/or be duplicated easily for example at Home Depot; On July 2019 we contacted Reed Brothers Security 4432 Telegraph Ave Oakland CA 94609 and wanted to buy a new 6 doors / 6 slots mailbox with the specific request that the new mailbox keys must be simple and easily to be duplicated at any key duplicator machines such as at Home Depot. Then the Reed Brother installed the 6 doors mailbox SalsBury USPS-STD-4B+ mailbox with a total cost around $800 which includes the mailbox, the cost of installation and the cost of coordinating with the local Post Office to came out and put on its own lock. Picture of the mailbox can be found at page 40 of the catalog at the [*** Link removed ***] Unfortunately, I found out latter that the keys for this new mailbox cannot be duplicated at Home Depot and/or at the Reed Brothers Security store. After three round-trips to Reed Brothers with 3 different duplicating keys not working, the owner Rod ? agreed to assign the last technician named Juss to came out and replacing all 6 locks; I would like to thank Juss who assured me that he would take care of the problem; and did not charge me any extra money because the mailbox is under warrantee. I want to give the technician Juss a 5 stars rating for his professional service, courtesy and assuring to the customer. D. Doan

Jeff was great. He was the first one to contact me after I asked for bids, and he was available the same day (a Sunday) to come out and do the job. My mom's grip strength isn't very good, so he made sure the locks turned easily and provided her with keys that have extra large heads that are easier to grip. Everything he did was punctual, professional and reasonably priced.

First Bay LocksmithBen was super fast and punctual, both in replying to my request for a quote and in providing lightning-fast service. His pricing was very reasonable and he was very pleasant to work with. We had tried to replace the door lock on our front door ourselves, but we quickly discovered that the new strike plate for the deadbolt lock didn't fit the carved-out space that the old one did and the screw holes were also different so we were stuck. The time frame from we gave Ben the green light to come fix the lock for us to the time he had the job 100% completed was less than an hour! That included the time it took him to drive to our house. Needless to say, we are super-happy with the work he did and the service he provided. He'll definitely be our go-to guy whenever we need any locksmith services in the future. Corriea Lock and KeyFANTASTIC! First of all, Frederick was really responsive to our initial request, and very very patient with our questions and concerns about installing an automated lock. He explained what we needed, how to order it, and how to measure the door frame. When he came to the house, he was thorough and careful, and explained everything we needed to do to make sure the lock worked properly. He then fixed the front door lock and made an extra key on the spot. He swept the little bit of dust there was (I could not see any), and was very thoughtful about everything.
