Pelican Static Site Generator, Powered by Python
Pelican is a static site generator that requires no database or server-side logic.
The project is maintained by Justin Mayer (@jmayer) and other members of the Pelican dev team.
Some of Pelican’s features include:
- Write content in reStructuredText or Markdown markup
- Completely static output is easy to host anywhere
- Themes that can be customized via Jinja templates
- Publish content in multiple languages
- Atom/RSS feeds
- Code syntax highlighting
- Import from WordPress, RSS feeds, and other services
- Modular plugin system and corresponding plugin repository
