Ric and Crew were responsive and delivered a great product that will last for 20 years. The old Red Wood deck served us well but did not look near as good as the new composite deck does.

They were prompt on the first visit out to look at the job. After that we had scheduling glitches which is understandable in some cases. The issue came up with when the deck finally did get sealed it was not done right. No prep work was done, spots were missed and it looked bad. When Mike asked if I was happy he seemed surprised I said no I sent pictures and asked him to come look at the work, because if it was his house he would not like it either. ( I had not paid them at this point) His understanding was we never talked about prepping the deck only staining it. (any one knows you have to prep wood) Well they came out this past week sanded the areas and prepped it. It was to rain Friday they came and covered the deck. They came Saturday to stain the deck even though the forecast called for rain. We were told it should be ok for light rain. Well everyone knows what kind of storm hit the west valley. It poured, and of course the stain/weatherproofing is not repellant any longer, as it wasn't even dry when the rain hit. My house has now stain on it and so does my patio that is underneath..Mostly from them missing the rails and letting the stain drop. My bots are half stained others aren't. I feel I am out my 600.00 and I am still not happy with the work. Now I just need to figure out if I want to deal with this company any longer to get it done right. Third time a charm???

It was an absolute pleasure to deal with everyone involved in this project. Robert assessed the work and provided a verbal estimate within one day to remove the old deck and build a replacement 6' by 15' deck, complicated by the fact that the deck is cantilevered from the house structure. He provided a written contract that was exactly as described verbally, and we decided to upgrade the balustrade to redwood, and that cost increase was completely reasonable. Robert, Jeremiah and Jim performed all work on schedule with attention to detail and kept the work site clean. All three men were hard-working skilled craftsmen that I would trust with any construction job in my home. All were personable and they gave me tips to handle other issues with my home. The finished product was excellent and conscientiously constructed. I give my strongest endorsement to Mayer & Sons.

They are on Angie's List and they did an outstanding job for me. The price was also very good and the quality of service was also excellent. I will continue to use them again in the future.

Deck over my pool to retire in the pool they did an excellent job from start to finish everybody I dealt with at that company was very professional and the job was completed on time and excellent I am very happy with my new deck !!!

We made arrangements to have the work done while we were on vacation without complications. The work took about a week and when we returned we had a beautiful deck instead of a space eating, costly to maintain pool. The work was done professionally and we are happy with our new deck and dealing with Deckover.

Pavel originally rebuilt a deck for me in 2004. Job was 1st class so when I needed a new deck in 2011 for my front porch, Pavel was who I called. Job was beautifully done and priced right. I needed new windows and could not find any of the big window replacement companies that would install them like new construction. Pavel installed day energy EFF windows the way I wanted it done and did a first class job. I could not be happier and highly recommend Construction One!

Austin was on time, very professional. The work was high quality & did what he said he'd do. Having him back to do my bathroom remodel.

I got three estimates including Brian's for the work to be done. I did not agree with what the other two companies proposed to fix the deck. One of the other roofing companies suggested that I simply sheet over the water damaged deck. I completely agreed with Brian's proposal of how to fix the deck. Brian worked quickly and kept me informed of where he was in the process of fixing and installing the new deck coating. After the work was done I noticed that the railing wasn't properly sealed where it attaches to the deck. Brian had a roofer out the next day that fixed the problem to my complete satisfaction.

Came out for an estimate on the Cool Deck work and suggested alternatives for the cracked concrete patio surface as well. We ended up doing both the deck and the patio. Superb job done. Owner and son did all of the work. Completion took only three days.
