The Tree AmigosI left a message on the Tree Amigos web site requesting an estimate. Andy called two days later and came out. He looked at each tree and we discussed what work needed to be done. In some cases, he asked what my preference was for the tree. He wrote up an itemized estimate that described the work to be done. His estimate showed the breakdown of the price per tree. Because they were busy, they weren't able to schedule my work until two weeks later. They arrived at 6 a.m. as promised and went right to work. They worked until about 12:30 finishing all the pruning they were scheduled to do. They raked up all the branches after they finished and ground up most of it in a shredder. What they didn't shred, they hauled away in a truck. The trees were pruned correctly and will continue to grow in nice shapes. I was able to charge the work on a credit card.- Suzanne W.

1st Priority InspectionsWe ended up working with Tim on three different occasions during our house hunt, so we feel more than qualified to rate the service. After our first inspection with Tim, we saw how professional and thorough he was as an inspector. The first and second home we put an offer in on, turned out to be complete money pits with tens of thousands of dollars of hidden issues. Tim was able to identify and bring to our attention issues ranging from pipping, air conditioning units, roofing, leaks, pest control, etc. The issues Tim uncovered ranged from major to minor ones and even some helpful tips on avoiding hazards and issues to monitor to prevent them from getting bigger. Availability to get the service done was fantastic with Tim and he offers more than just a basic home inspection. The basic home inspection runs around $305.00 USD and depending on your needs or situation you may want to do the add ons like termite, pool/spa or radon (but those are an additional cost; however we did receive some discounts for being repeat customers). We do recommend doing the radon inspection before buying, especially when you are buying a vacant property where the numbers will be most accurate. We received reports the same day, so very quick turn around and Tim is always available and able to provide clarification and answers to any questions you might have. Reports were easy to read with great formatting and pictures. Tim has been a wealth of information in our house hunt and has saved us from getting stuck with the wrong home, we are sure glad we found such an amazing house inspector! We would definitely use 1st Priority Inspectors again - in fact, we did, 3 times in total!- Mary P.

I contracted with this company to repair my swimming pool and the foundation of my home 11/30/18. At this point, I have to give the company a C- (at best) for their performance. I could probably write several pages about the experience, but I will try to confine myself to the main points. On the plus side, they did perform the work I contracted for (cost $34,000), with one exception. The contract calls for a follow-up floor survey which was completed 11/24/20. To date (01/20/21), I am still waiting for the survey report. The expression, “take the money and run” comes to mind. This review will cover some of the things to consider when contracting with this company. The process will begin with the floor survey and repair report (cost $400). The sales agent will review the report with you and recommend a contract for the repairs. Mistake one. They offer a 5% discount if you sign the contract immediately. However, given it takes at least an hour to review the repair report, it would take another hour to review the massive number of “outs” written in the contract. Skip the discount so you know what you are getting into. For example, the foundation repair involved moving the flagstone on my patio. I had to pay another company to re-install the flagstone; not included in the contract. Mistake two. Most foundation problems are due to drainage; water pooling by the home. The repair report identified drainage problems, but they were not discussed, and the needed “hardscaping” to correct the problem was not included in the contract. My advice is to correct any drainage problem, then consider whether you still need a foundation repair. Mistake three. The repair plan allows the company to “adjust” the repair plan based on “site conditions”. They had to move the placement of the repair (poles driven into the ground, called push piers) because I have an air conditioner located where they planned to place the pier. Walk around the outside of your home and verify WHERE the piers will be placed, before signing the contract. Once you sign the contract, it is next to impossible (at least in my case) to get anyone to further discuss the repair plan. Mistake three. The pool repair was not performed by this company; it was subcontracted to another company, with no warranty. Better to simply find a pool repair company. The subcontractor would refer me back to AFS if I had a question about the pool repair, and good luck getting an answer from AFS. Mistake four. There ARE other companies that perform this work.

Tree Amigos trimmed the enormous mesquite tree in my front yard, and I couldn't be more please with the service. The tree had really become overgrown, its large branches extending over my entire front yard, my roof, and even the neighbors' driveway - this was not a simple task. Scheduling was simple, and Tree Amigos was punctual, arriving when they said they would. The tree was trimmed beautifully, and the clean up was meticulous. I can only imagine the mess it made, but when I arrived home, my front yard looked spotless. Tree Amigos blew the debris off the roof (including debris that was there before they arrived, due to the branches dangling over the roof), cleared the rain gutters below the tree of debris and cleaned my brick courtyard completely. Wow! I expected the tree to be trimmed, of course, but in a million years I wouldn't have expected even my hardscape to have gotten so much attention. I'll definitely use Tree Amigos again in the future - their thorough service and attention to detail truly impressed me.

I will start by saying we don't have any rating which is less than one star as they are not even eligible for one start rating. Attn : Who ever wants to get the inspection done from BPG don't fall for the 90 day warranty. They never stand by there words, i have done my inspection recently the report says its tested for dryer hookup when i moved in and did my first laundry boom there was a issue with dryer chord or panel and did not work. When contacted them they say all story but never address the issue or don't stand by their work. All you get hear is : I'm sorry, but we will not be able to offer assistance with the cost of this repair. what's the fun of 90 days warranty,,,,,,,,,,Request everyone to do the research before selecting BPG inspection. This incident happened in Minnesota.
