A previous plumber told us he would need to replace flooring to replace a tolet flange because it was sub-level. I had a home warranty service that would not pay for such a thing. Case brought in a good plumber who fixed the problem and replaced the toilet all for the warranty's cash out price!

They were fast. I thought that the price was fair. I would use them again if I have the need for a plumber.

The new bathroom that Pacific construction and design did at my house was a complete remodeling. I got their information from friends that hired them in the past and they were happy with them. I had several meetings before signing the contract with them. The work was on a daily basis work and Sol monitored and supervised it while making sure that there will be no mistakes during the work. At the end, the new bathroom came out gorgeous and I'm happy with everything they did for me at my house.

He not only fixed the plumbing issue, but let the wall dry, put up new sheetrock, painted and caulked the wall. He did it with not problem. He is just awesome and is very friendly. He can do a lot of things and is a good guy to have around. He is very trustworthy and I let him work on my home even if I'm not home.

He was very personable and professional. He did a good work for a good price. It was probably about half of what a normal plumber would have charged.

They are very good. They showed up on time and it is a fixed cost for two hours. It would be cheaper than having a plumber come in. I had no complaints about the work.

Jim did a very good job - I was pleased. He was very candid up front about what he was going to do and the timing involved in getting the neccessary parts.

went very well. Tim came in with one of his team members to do an impressive job. The area where he covered up the hole so well covered that I can't even tell where the hole used to be. He was responsive via email and text throughout the entire process leading up to the work. the work took the amount of time he estimated and he and his team mate were a pleasure to work with. Only minor constructive feedback is if payment could be made available electronically. had to pay with a physical check but Tim was kind enough to forego collecting onsite and allowed me to mail to him.

Mr. Stumpf came to my house and had to take apart several portions of the pipeline to be able to gain access to tighten the joints that were leaking. He also shortened the gas pipe behind my new stove in the kitchen. For all of this he charged $100.00 (as opposed to $945.00 the plumber had asked for!). He was very nice and did the work efficiently. I would definitely hire him again.

If you want peace of mind, Sun Builders Bob Otterson is your guy!! We cannot recommend Bob highly enough!!! When we called to get an estimate, he answered immediately was wonderful and helpful over the phone and said he would be there the next morning. He was right on time! We called him about dry rot issues. We were having our home painted and needed the work done as soon as possible. We pretty much knew we were going to have to have our back door replaced but we were under time constraints, needed a specific type of door and a pet door installed. Bob got right on things and was back with an estimate on all work and materials within the day and said he could start working the next day. Omigosh!! He showed up right on time and was a whirlwind!! He brought all of the materials needed for the job. He got right to work and in the blink of an eye he had many things done. He has every power tool imaginable which expedites everything. Someone else would have taken much longer to complete the jobs. He did every job thoroughly and professionally, always going the extra step to make things perfect. He did extra things to make the repair last.....extra caulking, etc. There was a stucco repair another estimator told us he did not want to fix with stucco. Bob did it with stucco and it is beautiful. Because our house was built in 1921 and nothing is square and everything has been modified our house presents challenges. Our new hallway wall heater stuck way out because walls are different now. He molded around it beautifully. Bob was told our door would take over a week to get. Bob got it in a matter of days, in time for the paint job!!!! I think it is because he is such a wonderful guy, and is always checking on things, etc, they got the door done for him in record time!!!! Which benefited us tremendously!! It was quite a challenge to get our door in because things weren't level. He shimmed and amazingly cut trim on strange angles to make everything look amazing!!!!!!! Our cat is our baby and the cat door was a big issue that Bob got done by having the cat door installed when the door was made. The sad thing is our cat doesn't want to use the cat door because it is not see through and her old one was. WELL, NO PROBLEM!!!!!!!! BECAUSE WE HAVE BOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I realized the problem, I thought, BOB CAN DO ANYTHING!!! HE IS CREATIVE IN SOLVING PROBLEMS AND HAS AN IDEA FOR EVERYTHING. YOU HAVE NO IDEA THE PEACE OF MIND I HAVE NOW BECAUSE OF BOB!! Sure enough, when I told him, he said no problem!!! Also, the tile he cut for our plumber is hard to get. On his own time, after he was paid and the job should have been over, he went to three different places between Berkeley and San Leandro to find the tile, dropped it by.....and he got it for FREE!! They gave it to him as a sample......because he is a great guy. Bob Otterson is someone you want on your team!! Because our jobs were complicated, Bob greatly underestimated the time involved but stuck to his estimated job cost!!!!! Additionally he purchased everything, picked up everything including the door and disposed of things on his own time. We paid him extra because he earned it, deserved it, and is worth it. We have always needed a handyman....we are not too handy and things have deteriorated. NO MORE!! We will use Bob now for everything. We had other jobs scheduled that I wish we would have used Bob for. He can do anything and knows about everything. No job is too big or too small. He can do everything from plumbing to electrical to flooring to cabinetry to cat doors!!! Thank you Bob!! I usually don't take so much time on a review, but wanted to share this. You can hire Bob and have peace of mind also.

Rob came to do one thing specifically, but while he was there I added a number of odd jobs, including one that I intended to call a plumber to do. I was delighted when Rob not only said he could fix the problem, but also did so.

All work was done well, except a leak under the bathroom sink required him to come back 3 more times. To his credit, he offered to pay for a plumber if his last fix didn't stop the leak.

I couldn’t get the plumber to come out so I called them instead. I got a flyer in the mail that said they did handyman services. They came right out, gave me an estimate, and did the work the next day.

Nick worked hard and professionally the entire time. I found Nick to be completely trustworthy and very capable. I would wholeheartedly recommend Nick for work in any home. Nick provided great value for $$ spent.

Diagnosis done, but not one problem was fixed when he left. If he had fixed one thing, it would have cost hundreds of dollars. Other electricians and plumbers were quoting $50 - $75 for diagnosis. I paid him over $125.

Right when it got cold, my tenants in my Mission rental called me late at night on a Saturday saying the heater wasn't coming on (unresponsive to the thermostat). I called a number of different handymen who mostly took days to respond to my calls. Julie called me Sunday morning and came out as soon as I could meet her there. Not only was she very helpful in explaining what she suspected was going on with the heater, she was honest about the limits of what she could do (short of replacing the control valve which requires a plumber) and about the costs. I appreciated her professionalism. Even though I eventually had to get a plumber in to do additional work when the problem turned out to be more than the thermal couple and thermostat-- just as she thought I would -- I would definitely call Julie again for other fixes.

After fixing the garbage disposal, a hose came loose and flooded the kitchen. Despite multiple conversations with a promise to stand behind his work, he never showed up, even at times that were pre-arranged. We ended up hiring another plumber to fix the problem.

Initially, there were hard to get in touch with. But once the job was scheduled, they were prompt and efficient. I was impressed with their work ethic. They were perfectly willing (and even enthusiastic) to start another item on the list at 4 PM on a Friday. Eric did most of the miscellaneous jobs but I deferred to the master plumber (Saul) for one item. All in all, it was a very positive experience.

My main reason for service was the leak & alarm promo, but then a couple days before the scheduled service call I discovered the cold water valve to my washer was leaking. He was courteous, professional, and left the work area clean. I would recommend Bayshore Plumbers and would use them again.
