He did a great job picking up our dining room table and putting it together - it weighed a ton - so we had him back to hang a light in our bedroom. Great job again, and it is a large light and we have 11 foot ceilings. Will hire him again.

A Good Handyman
Todd responded to my request very quickly and we were able to arrange a time that he could come over to complete the work. He arrived on time, was very courteous and finished the job efficiently and beautifully. I love my new curio!!! Todd also came back and hung a large mirror for me in the living room. I am so appreciative that he was able to help me knock this stuff off my to do list. Todd is A-1, thats why I rated him 5Stars.

Richard S White Maintenance
Richard helped me design and build beds for my massage studio. He installed the art work and new light fixtures, and hang the outdoor sign. Also, when the front door got damaged, I called he was able to come fix it right after. His good work is the reason I have him several times since. I have recommended him to my friends. They are also happy with quality of his work.

Joe was supposed to install doors, but they had been milled incorrectly. He helped me return the doors to Lowe's, and then performed other jobs that needed to be done so that the day would not be a total loss. He is personable, fast, and exacting, so the jobs were done quickly and correctly. He will return when the new doors arrive.

VERY Very well, Chayse from Lundgren-Homes did a great great job and he stayed and came back with appropriate tool that was odd and he purchased himself to get the exercise massage chair done, let me explain. IT WAS A 3K chair that needed putting together with wires and lectrical conduit and connectors as well as placing in metal holders to hole the very very heavy chair itself. At one point it took both of us to balance this heavy back that the chairl itself was well over 250#'s itself. T-tack didn't help nor did assembly for IKEA Furn folks could do or attempt. CHAYSE was the ONLY ONE that went the extra mile to figure out the Japanese Instructions that NO ONE could of done by themselves. Even You Tube videos didn't pull this one off. THANK YOU MISTER LUNDGREN of Lundgren Homes for your son to come out and help our Family in a tight placed Studio Condo! NOT EASY TASK! Plus two dogs to boot! Thanks Angie's List for having Chayse on here!!! He saved the day and my Spouse was going to send it BACK TO COST Co for a Refund! We would of had to pay freight shipping chrgs.

I called Larry on a Friday, got a call back on Sat am and he came by Saturday late afternoon to review the varied tasks I had and myriad small repairs needed. As he charges standard $50/hr rate, I didn't request an advance estimate, just discussed when he could return the next day and start on the list. He came right on time, has an amazing truck with everything you could possibly need him to have and immediately set about doing all the furniture assembly (media console, two wooden chaise lounges) and repairs (door lock alignment, gate mechanism fix). These were accomplished swiftly and well. Plus he consulted with me on: new hardware for my front doors (he is acquiring for me through wholesaler); two replacement doors I am considering for downstairs; toilet mechanisms; a potential water heater fix that I can accomplish myself at no cost; and review of a deck that may be rotting in some places, including taking measurements and based on a sample materials on hand, gave me a rough estimate of the materials cost (not labor) it would run to replace the entire deck. All in the space of a few hours. Excellent service and professionalism - will absolutely recommend and continue to use.

Richard is responsive, efficient and knowledgeable about all I needed him to do. i threw a couple extra things at him and instead of rushing the jobs he said he had to make another appt so he could be on time with his next job. Cliffhanger Home Repairs
Cliff made room for me in his VERY busy schedule and made my windows safer, re-assembled furniture the moving men had not assembled properly, and fixed my kitchen sink and showerhead - all in about 90 minutes. He also showed me how to fix/maintain a couple of small things myself to save money. He arrived on time, and was very professional throughout. Will definitely use him again!!!

Victor has done handyman work for me for 8 - 10 years. He is efficient, reasonably priced, responsible and can do almost anything. He has cleaned and repaired gutters, done interior and exterior painting, repaired electrical outlets and appliances. He has assembled furniture, installed an exhaust pipe for the dryer, etc. Helped with garden work, planting roses. He has done all kinds of work for me. I wholeheartedly recommend him.You couldn't find a better handyman!

He was here for few hours. He nailed one of the book shelves too hard and did not tell us about it. It was assembled furniture and we found a hole in it. He was then working on the other bookshelf and he left the work incomplete. I did not call him back after that. He should have told me that he had damaged the shelf. He is not consistent. I will not use him again in the future.

My first impression was that they seemed expensive, to be honest. But frankly I felt like it was a terrific value. They were punctual, professional and fast. They came prepared to clean up after themselves and the final products were exactly as requested. The tricky part was custom cutting/fitting the two desks I had purchased. There was a lot of opportunity for things to go wrong and ruin two expensive pieces of furniture. But they did a terrific job and I will hire them again for more work in the future! Don't be fooled by the price--they're worth it and you get what you pay for in this case.. a good value!

Riche has fixed various things around my condo several times and he may be the second best investment I've ever made, the purchase of my condo being number one. He's very courteous, arrives on time and quickly gets to work. His skill and knowledge is amazing. He can fix anything and offers sound suggestions that will make my life easier. Here are a few examples: After he installed the pet door the sliding glass door could no longer meet the latch to lock so Riche created a wooden door stop that fit perfectly into the track. It has a long handle so I don't have to bend down to take it out when I want to open the door. I just grab the handle and lift it out and slide it back in when I want to close and lock the door. During his last visit he fixed my kitchen sink that recently began to drip. Instead of buying a new one which I thought I'd have to do as I've had the faucet for years, he disassembled part of it and replaced a small rubber part that he carried in his truck. He explained that over time the rubber part wore down and no longer held the water in check, hence the dripping. Instead of paying $100 for a new faucet, he fixed it for a few cents! He also fixed a patio gate that swung out from the patio instead of into the patio which made it impossible to lock and secure. At first he told me he could change the position of the hinges so the gate would swing inward. A few minutes later he remembered that a specific padlock latch would lock it from the inside without changing the hinges which saved time and money. My experience with Richard White reminds me of a line from one of my favorite movies, Moonstruck, which I'll paraphrase. "He costs money because he saves money." And Riche is worth every dollar.

Great! My computer armoire is a cherished piece of furniture so I was hesitant at first as to whether I should transition the light fixture to LED, I was afraid of damage. But Riche has done careful, excellent work for me in the past assembling furniture and other things, so I trust him. He explained to me the advantages of LED, double checked my measurements and sent me a link so I knew exactly what to order. He worked expertly and efficiently. He's very good about explaining things and I always learn from Riche. Riche is professional, creative, a talented handyman and a thoughtful person. Oh, and to top it off, he is fastidious about cleaning up after his work-- you can't beat that!! I highly recommend him!

Julie was recommended by the owner of Tuggey's hardware in Noe Valley. She came and basically did every annoying little job around the house that we were either too busy or too incompetent to do ourselves. For a couple of jobs she couldn't do (patching siding high on the house; repairing a nonstandard door lock) she left us with good references for people painters/locksmiths. She also does furniture assembly, fence repair, and "other minor irritants" according to her business card. When you've got a new baby and no sleep, those minor irritants can lead to not so minor domestic spats, so I consider the money spent on Julie to be more than well spent, its an investment in domestic tranquility. She showed up exactly on time to do estimate, got to work, and was done in a few hours.

I was extremely happy with everything about the service I received, starting with my initial phone conversation with Thor. We spoke a couple of times on the phone and each time he was very professional and very willing to work with me on my specific needs. I chose this company based on the reports on Angie's List, and I was even more pleased to learn that Thor would find a new home for the TV and entertainment center. They are both in fine working condition. Originally I was just going to hire the company to do the hauling, but when I explained about the new TV console I had ordered, I found out that Thor also does handyman work. So, that was terrific because I could have both sets of work done at the same time and by the same company. He charged me $100 for the hauling (and it was really a huge and heavy entertainment center) and $50 for assembling the console, which took about an hour. Thor brought along a second person to help him out and that was great because the hauling job was difficult and the console assembly was much faster and easier with two people. When the guys showed up to do the work, they were very careful not to get my white carpets dirty. They had just come from an outdoor job of some sort that had caused them to get a bit dusty. They took their shoes off and brushed the dust from their pants. They were very careful about the furniture assembly. They made sure that all the pieces went together the right way so that the finished sides were facing the correct directions. The instructions for the furniture were adequate but some of the finer details, such as finishing surfaces were actually missing from the instructions and it would have been easy to put it together incorrectly and for me not to notice it for a long while. All in all, it was a very good experience. I will definitely call these guys again when I need work like this performed.
