[Resolved] Copied BuddyPress Templates Not Overriding Originals

    Hi,

I’m using GeoDirectory plugin with BuddyPress. I have created a child theme for GeoDirectory Framework theme, which is working fine. I’m trying to modify the member page– I have copied home.php file from “single” directory to “community” directory I created in my child theme directory. I tested if the copied theme was overriding the original template by adding “text” to the top of the file, but it doesn’t show up. But if I add that to the original home.php, it does show up.

I’m using the most recent versions of WordPress and BuddyPress.

    I’d appreciate your help.

    Jaeeun

So does the file structure in your community dir look like this:
    community/members/single/home.php

It didn’t, but I created those directories for the file, and now it works.

    Thank you!!
