Very prompt and great service.

I purchased a voucher to A Professional Heating & Cooling for a $59 furnace inspection and cleaning. I never used the voucher, which expired in 2012. My understanding of the law is that after the promotional value of the voucher expires I should still be able to use the amount that I paid for the voucher toward services from this vendor. When I called A Professional to say that I wanted to use the amount paid for the voucher toward a furnace cleaning, the person who answered the phone said that they were not A Professional, but had only purchased their phone number. She claimed that they were a company called D'Andrea Heating & Cooling. I couldn't find any info on D'Andrea from Angie's List, but they had some good reviews on Facebook, so I had them come out. I was told on the phone that they would match the price on the voucher of $59 for the furnace cleaning, but when the tech arrived he said it would be $69. He did the work. I don't know the quality as there was nothing wrong with the furnace. I just wanted it cleaned and inspected. When he left the building, I looked out to make sure the gate was closed and saw that he was getting into a truck that said A Professional Heating & Cooling! I ran to get my tablet and took a picture. Apparently, A Professional & D'Andrea are one and the same. I have made a complaint to Angie's List and the Big Deal Team is looking into it.

Did not use for service. Completing review because Angie's List will not let me dismiss the nag on the home page without writing a review.

Fair, could use a little more professionalism.

Located a strange noise that I had been hearing and found a problem with my compressor. They fixed it the same day. I asked for an estimate for my waterheater too. They gave me an estimate on the spot and installed it the next day. Great service, great price and quick. The employees who serviced my house were polite and professional.

Tech called prior to arrival, arrived on time, and was very nice. He performed the cleaning and took time to explain everything he was doing and provided information as to keep thing in working order. I would recommend them

They were fine. I had no problems with them. They were very good. I haven’t needed them in awhile but when I needed them, they were there on the spot. It was a Saturday and to my surprise, they were there very quick. The cost was reasonable. I would tell my friends to use them.

It was easy to schedule. They did an excellent job and I would recommend them.

They did okay. However, it was like they were really trying to sell other stuff and the tuneup was almost like a way to get in through the door.

They came out and did inspection and cleaned the system. We thought the furnace and air conditioner was to small for the house. They gave us an estimate to install a new system. They were very professional and was not trying to sell us anything, we approached them. We had them install the AC first and then few months later we had them install the furnace. The amount for the install seemed to be reasonable.

It turned out great. It was fine. They were on time and they did what they were asked to do. Nothing really stood out.

The service went poorly. I was not happy with the company at all. They did exactly what the deal stated. The technician came down and told me how old my furnace is and that I should consider replacing it. I stayed with the technician while he was cleaning the furnace. He unplugged 2 outlets on the side of the furnace. The next morning I went down to the basement and I had water everywhere from the furnace. I called a friend of my husband’s to check on the furnace and he discovered the technician plugged the outlets back in incorrectly. That made the humidifier run all night and leak all over the floor. I would not use this company again or recommend them to others.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I wasn't so happy with them. Right after they did the check, my furnace broke. They showed up on time.

I had a good customer service experience with them. However, they came out and didn’t really know much about my Munchkin furnace. They basically looked over the unit.

It turned out great. They did good job.

He discovered I had a cracked pan, which was causing the leak. Service tech advised I look into to purchasing a new unit. Since my unit as pretty old. ( Installed 1981).

The gentleman was on time but he told me that I had something that was cracked on the furnace. He said I needed to cut it off right away and get a new furnace. He wanted to give me a price but I had a home warranty which I contacted after he left. They inspected the furnace and told me that there were no problems at all. I wouldn't use their services again. Coming into people's homes and telling them they needed to shut their furnace off can be very traumatic, especially for older people.

We have an older AC unit. Probably 10 years old. Prior AC repair tech's had come on-site and said we should get a new one immediately. However, when Jim from Heating and Cooling showed up, he said we needed to add refrigerant, but that otherwise the unit still had life. He explained what to look for in a failing unit, air not cool, refilling refrigerant more than once a season and things of that nature. He was thorough and pleasant and even answered questions about what we could do to cool other rooms without central air vents but access to the house. There was no push to up-sell units or perform unneeded work. I felt no pressure and Jim is great.

I was very please with this service until fall 2013. No follow up and my furnace was not serviced until April. Was sent an invoice with neither of my first and last name spelled correctly. Also felt that a repair was made that was not necessary after doing investigation on the internet.

It was fine. I had to pay more for more freon. They are expensive. I’ve had this done before at a cheaper price. He filled up the freon with what was necessary. He came in timely manner.

It was fine. They did a fair job. The estimate was high.

Both times I reached out to the service provider and scheduled an appointment, they had to reschedule. No service was actually provided.

I purchased a Big Deal for $59 for a 21-point furnace clean & check. They came out and checked everything out and it has been working fine every since. They even vaccumed out and around the area after they were done! And they checked my water heater for free!
