    I e-mailed Mr. Bass and he returned my inquiry promptly by phone. We arranged for an appointment and he met me at my home at the scheduled date and time. We discussed the problems with the fixtures and agreed on a price. He took the bottom pieces of the fixtures back to his shop but called several days later and explained in detail the problem with the second fixture that had been fixed previously by another person. We arranged another meeting and he attached the broken pieces from the first fixture and picked up the entire second fixture for repair. Just a few days later he telephoned and returned the second fixture. Mr. Bass was prompt, friendly, courteous, professional and described in detail the repairs he would make. He is truly an artisan of metal repair! Its exciting to find someone who appreciates "old" fixtures and knows how to repair them. I highly recommend him

    I had a light fixture that I purchased online and came broken. The manufacturer didn't want it back (they reimbursed me for the light) and I really liked it so I thought I would try and find a welder to fix it. I found Bob on Angie's List and gave him a call. We set up a time for me to come to his shop so he could take a look at it and see if it could be saved. He looked at it and thought he would be able to fix it. We agreed on my max price and I told him that if he got into it and didn't think he could fix for that price to call me. He called about a week or so later saying that it was all fixed and was within the agreed upon price. I picked up the fixture and it looked great. It is now hanging in my sunroom and I just love it

    I have iron window well grates and wanted to keep them. They had rusted through, with broken flanges and parts, since they were probably the original grates for a near 90 year old house. Bob had them completely remade and re-powdercoated. He kept me informed throughout the process.

    The chrome base had broken in 3 places and he had to remove the chrome and weld the breaks to make the base solid. All while maintaining the appearance of the rest of the chrome and not disturbing the leather chair section which couldn't be separated. Bass was very careful and achieved excellent results. Work was done when he said it would be. I'd use him again - he specializing in fixing and restoring household items - something it's hard to find somebody to do competently and at a decent price. $100 isn't nothing - but compared to replacing a leather recliner it was worth it

    They are not an auto shop and they mostly do fabricating of other stuff so they are fairly flexible in what they do, which was kind of impressive. They were making the vertical things on the back of Fedex trucks when I was there and it was pretty interesting. They got me in and out. They did it in the time they said they would. I didn?t have any problems and they saved me from buying a new car

    Mr. Bass provided an estimate and a pickup was arranged. He picked up the chair when promised. The work was performed at the price estimated, as well as some additional painting done to finish the job more completely. He dropped off the finished product when promised. It works great!

    Terrible. The fence was put up in early October, and as best as I can tell looks very nice. The swing gate was supposed to close against my garage but was installed in such a way that the gate only met the garage at the very top of the gate. The gap between the garage and the lower portion of the gate is wide enough for anyone to reach around and unlatch the gate from the other side. This is partly due to the fact that my garage is not completely level along the side that meets the gate, but I think that this should have been noticed by the installers when they planted the posts for the fence and gate. The installers came back (Oct 12) but could offer no solution other than to attach a piece of wood to the gate to close the gap. That was not acceptable in my opinion for a new gate. It took over a month(Nov 16) and 2 more phone calls before Rolen Bros even sent out someone to address my concerns and look at the gate. The person from Roland Bros was very pleasant and seemed to understand my concerns. We reached a compromise that I was satisfied with and he told me that they would be able to fix the gate very soon, weather permitting. However even though there was decent weather in mid to late December no one showed up and nobody from Rolen Bros ever called with any type of update. I finally called them again yesterday(12/27) after receiving an invoice in the mail, and was told that they would be coming today( 12/28). I sat home all day and again no one showed up or called. Rolen Bros does not return calls as promised and twice have not shown up on the day they said they would, without calling to let me know. Update: after no contact from Rolen Bros on Monday (12/31) or this morning (1/2/19) someone showed up while I was out shopping and attached an extra slat of wood to the back of the gate. However it is a different color wood than the swing gate. While the gate is now safe from entry from the back side, it looks awful considering it is a new gate . It is almost as if this company prefers/hopes that the homeowner not be at home while they work. I am sending them the final payment, just happy to be done with this disreputable company
