Wonderful experience working with Sam. He did all that he was asked to do and in the process of checking the whole house electrical found the the AC/heating system, 25 years old needed replacing plus damper motor- the works from inside the attic and outside large part of the system, Since he is a licensed HVAC professional, he replaced the entire system for us

It is so rare that we see someone with anything near to this level of expertise, dedication, and value for any home construction or service job. This guy is the real deal, honest and professional. He does what he loves, and he loves what he does, and in doing so provides REAL value for his specific niche. Explained everything and every charge beautifully down to the last detail. We had estimates that were much higher, but he was so principled about explaining what was necessary that we were able to actually save money. We had purchased an older house, and the attic ducts were crushed and a spaghetti mess, making the vents dusty, moldy, and impossible to clean. He redesigned and replaced the ducts for an incredibly reasonable cost, focusing only on what was needed. He did all the work himself and was very careful to keep the workspace clean and tidy. There’s a bit of a delay to get him to be able to come to assess your home, but boy, was it worth it!!! Boyd Services was the most incredibly professional service I’ve hired in all my years from HomeAdvisor or Angie’s Service. We’re talking 2 decades of home services. If I could give him a hundred stars I would. We are super happy we hired him instead of the other folks.

Luis has done 4 different jobs for our family. One of those was during a majority weather event here in Houston. He has done plumbing , electric , woodworking & dry wall repair.
All the work was of good quality and completed in a timely manner. His prices are appropriate for his high quality work.
I mentioned the weather event to prove this point. There were many reports locally about price gouging during that weather event. Luis’ prices were fair and he did not take advantage of our situation.
We will use him soon for an upcoming floor project.
