  From start to finish, Dave, Eli, Susan, and Mike were nothing but helpful and professional. Our new kitchen cabinets are truly high quality and gorgeous! They are furniture quality built to our exact specifications. After our initial meeting, Eli came to our house with samples of door designs and wood colors. While we decided what we wanted, he took extensive measurements of our kitchen to ensure that all of our new cabinets would fit exactly. He had suggestions as to how we could improve the layout and functionality of our kitchen. We received drawings to approve and were able to make changes to details like moving the location of the trash, the width of the spice pullout, and where the knife block would be located. Both Eli and Susan were tremendously helpful and didn't hesitate to make the changes that we requested. Mike, the installer, was careful, talented, and one of the nicest people we have ever worked with. He and his assistant did a superior job with the installation of the cabinets and the crown moulding. My husband is a retired union carpenter who knows wood and quality craftsmanship. He has nothing but praise for High Point Cabinets and their employees. I would recommend them to friends and relatives without hesitation.   Outdoor living space makes a huge difference! When we bought a 1920’s home, our first priority was the kitchen, and that is where we originally found Goran. He did such a wonderful job with our kitchen that we also chose to work with him when we were ready to build a back deck. The things that were great about Goran before were still great this time around. He’s reliable and responsive, while also being flexible and great at problem solving which is a necessity when working with older homes. We were dealing with a few weird issues – trying to tie together two back doors, and a side porch while also leaving the basement cellar door accessible. We had some wires that were kind of low that he had to figure out what to do with (he ended up running them underground) and some gutter and pipe problems that he had to manage. Goran accommodated our priorities, but also helped us decide what reasonable priorities were by giving us the facts. We wanted a gas line for the grill, and he built that in – it is the most amazing thing not to have to worry about running out of or changing the propane. He built a huge space for eating because we entertain frequently and when we couldn’t find a suitable table, he built us a custom one from scratch. To this day people ask for his contact information because the table is so beautiful and I tell them it only comes if you get a deck! Goran also handmade a privacy screen because he couldn’t find a lattice he liked, and that’s an example of why it is great to work with him. He doesn’t cheap out on the details and finishing touches, and knows how to fix any problem. The finished product makes our house about 100% more luxurious. It is not just a deck – it is a true outdoor living space

  I found Regency Design and Build on Angie's list and based on my discussions with Norm and the detailed quality of the proposal he gave me, I decided to hire them for the major upgrades at my home in Solon. I live out of state, so it was important to hire a company that knew what they were doing, is ethical, honest, and loved my home as much as I did. The crew including Eli, Nicole, Mo, Charlie, and Lisa were incredibly generous with their time and TLC. Norm did a number of video calls with me to show me the status of my work and Eli took lots of pictures and loaded them to their Buildertrend website so I could view them. Nicole was phenomenal with the calendar, scheduling, follow-ups, and keeping me apprised of the job completion status and the team overall ESPECIALLY NORM went above and beyond to address my concerns and needs. Norm was also fair and honest in the pricing of change orders or unforeseen items. He took full responsibility for the performance and quality of the job his team did, addressing gaps immediately without complaining. My project was over $100k and Norm and team delivered an excellent quality job for my investment. I very rarely do reviews of companies and typically only do them when I am really unhappy with the quality of a company's job. This was different.   We had Mike and his team out a few months back, and could not be happier with the improvements to our home, and the service we received. Below is the details of the work we had done. It was an absolute pleasure having Larry and his coworkers in our house everyday. They stayed in communication with us, worked very hard to stay on deadlines, kept our home very clean while it was a work area, and were so respectful of our home. Mike was great to work with in helping us make our vistion a reality and checked in often while work was going on. We had an 8ft large picture window installed where there was previously just a standard single window. The window and the wall they had to cut apart and put back together looks perfect. We added a kitchen island that has transformed cooking and storage in our space and looks like it was always meant to be there. We also had custom shelving made and installed in our living room that runs the length of the wall with our tv on it and frames it just as we had wanted.   Very pleased with the kitchen renovation done by American Wood Reface. The process was smooth from the first meeting with Ron, the salesman, to the final measurements by Jason, the owner, to the final work day as Scott, the carpenter completed the installation. Such a plus to be able to deal with one company for the entire renovation. Selecting cabinet style and trim, hardware, Cambria quartz countertop, undercabinet lighting and sink style were all done in the convenience of our home. Because of Covid, it was so helpful not to have to go out from store to store selecting each of the components. Ron had samples of the cabinets, trim, quartz, and hardware so we could see what our choices would look like together. Scott proved to be an excellent carpenter and truly professional. He managed his time well [even completing the work earlier than predicted], and cleaned up the areas every day so the kitchen appliances could be used for dinner every evening. In addition to his outstanding carpentry skill, Scott accomplished the appliance installations with ease. The cabinet refacing is absolutely beautiful and very well crafted. We are pleased with all of our choices and very satisfied with the quality of the product.
