I can sometimes "fiddle" around to fix some computer problems if I struggle long enough with my device. Usually, however, I make things worse, or get lost in the weeds. On those occasions, I go to the nearest Best Buy's Geek Squad for help; this can be done with or without an and appointment. Although I have access to a 24/7 Geek Squad technician support over the phone, I prefer taking my device to an in-store Best Buy Geek Squad Agent (technician) for help since I feel I can explain things better face-to-face with the device rather than over the phone. I have found all Geek Squad Agents very professional, friendly, understanding and (mostly) patient with "technophobes" like me! One thing is, however, not all agents are created equal in diagnosing and fixing my issues in-store and on the spot. On those occasions, I have to leave my device for a couple of days while other agents resolve the problem which they do very well. However, there is an agent at the Dublin, California Best Buy store by the name of "John"; he's a wizard! He can quickly and confidently diagnose a problem and fix it without leaving my tablet behind for others to do it. I am over joyed as a result! But to be clear: whether it's John or other agents, my issues are always resolved and most of all, I trust them.
