Along with other work, we had one of our foundation walls completely rebuilt by Keystone about 7 years ago and although no water was leaking in, I became concerned about two long hairline cracks that I noticed. I called the company office, explained my issue and a date was scheduled to have a technician check the wall. Barry was dispatched, arrived on time, and I showed him the areas that I was concerned about. He felt that these were cracks due to settling, ground them out and filled them with new mortar. During the process, he fully explained what he was doing and that he was going to install "Crack Monitors" on each area. These would be checked periodically to ensure that these were truly due to settling and not pressure from the outside bowing the foundation. Barry also told me that if bowing was actually happening, carbon fiber straps would be installed, at no charge, to stabilize the wall. I would like to give a shout out to Barry, who was very thorough, professional, and a wealth of information. Also to Keystone, who was very responsive to my concern. The only negative I would add is that the company warranty stipulates that every 5 years someone would be out to inspect their work; I had to remind them that this was overdue, but Barry also took care of it while he was on site.

We moved into a new house this past fall knowing we would need a wall repair with anchors. I called Baker’s to ask if they could help! That evening they sent out Jon M who was a fantastic help with the process. Explained everything in detail, showed us what needed to be done, gave us the right price amount, set us up with the appointment and a few weeks later we had a new wall! Whenever Ive had questions with anything even to this day Jon has always been able to answer any questions and even get paperwork together that we needed. The guys who came to do the work were very nice explained what needed done did it in a timely manner and did a really good job! Thanks Baker’s!!!

Brian came over after we had talked with several contractors about a concrete porch underside (in basement room) and one of those contractors made us think the concrete was in such a bad state of "imminent failure" that we asked a retired architect friend to give his opinion (he did not think concrete was so bad) but this retired architect friend was glad we were having a structural engineer (Brian) coming over a few days later. Brian explained why he did not think the concrete was in need of full replacement (very expensive!) and not a foundation/structure integrity issue. Brian said the concrete only needed grinding off of all old paint, leveling and sealing with epoxy on top and filling the underside gap/cracking/peeling concrete (ceiling of the below basement room) with silicon caulk and monitoring for 1-2 seasons/years. Monitoring (and not immediately repairing/sealing the underside) allows us to really gauge that the concrete (1) was correctly sealed with epoxy and (2) isn't in the beginning stages of true failure. The cost to fully replace is upwards of 15-20 thousand dollars. From the state of the concrete, Brian did not believe the "symptoms" warranted a full replacement and that the more likely issue was simply that we never "sealed" the concrete with epoxy (and only painted the concrete porch). Brian took time to educate us on how water can cause "rust jacking" (rebar rusting + expanding leading to spalling) and our concrete had only mild symptoms not requiring a 15-20 thousand fix. Brian explained the importance of grinding away the old paint, ensuring the level of the porch favors proper drainage *before* sealing with epoxy is key. He even suggested taking a garden hose to spray water over concrete to watch that the water flows off the porch and doesn't puddle (sign that the porch surface isn't correctly sloped and/or leveled in the correct way) Now, it is possible that after *correct* epoxy sealing, caulking the underside of the concrete porch (that is the ceiling of the basement room) and then monitoring the underside for 1-2 seasons/years we will see that the rebar still shows signs of "active" degrading (silicon caulk peels away, concrete starts to crumble) - and that is a sign that, indeed, the rebar is degrading on its own (not due to water) and full replacement warranted - but we'd rather try the first level fix that Brian suggests than do (what now sounds like) overkill of a 15-20 thousand dollar fix. Brian's honest and informative consultation (for free!!!) is piece of mind and a HUGE savings. We greatly appreciate Brian coming over to educate us - on his own dime- these guys care more about giving honest opinions and not dishonestly taking people's money. We will definitely ask Brian to come over again if/when we think we need an honest assessment of our home foundation needs.

Kris was the estimator and did a good job to understand the property's need. Theron was the crew chief and Roger was his assistance. Both installers did an amazing job and completed the entire work in just 2 days. I would DEFINITELY recommend Bakers Waterproofing again.

The crew was on time each day. They were professional and easy to work with. They patched and painted the deck and ceiling of my garage to stop the leaking into my workshop. The job came out real good. They had to move the furniture off my deck and some woodworking equipment from my workshop all went well. The real test for this repair will be when it rains later this week and there is no more leak. I would recommend A + for your future projects.

It went very well! Harry educated me on the process and his skilled team installed an interior french drain in my basement and reinforced my basement walls with carbon fiber straps. I now feel confident that I can finish it. Harry's team went above and beyond with the clean up and also took it upon themselves to repair some other masonry damage around my front steps at no charge. G & J will be at the top of my list for home improvements!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sisko Waterproofing. We had the privilege of having his company put in a French drain in our family room. Their work ethic, promptness and cleanliness was remarkable. We were giving a time frame and the job was done before they had promised. Everyday they were on time, actually always early and cleaned up each day when they were finished. I would highly recommend Sisko Waterproofing company to anyone that needs any work done. Believe me you will not be disappointed! We are so happy to finally not get any water in our family room. Thank you Mike and your workers for a wonderful job done! On a scale of 1 to 10 we give you 100. Thanks again!
