SISSI CONSTRUCTIONWhat an excellent experience! I called Sissi Basement Waterproofing to come out to look at the terribly leaking basement of our recently purchased, more than 100 years old house. Lewis and his team came out that very same day. They walked around in the backyard looking at the gutters, the downspouts, the patio… Then they found why the water went into the basement and made a plan about how to redirect the water flow and waterproof the basement. Next day they provided us with an estimate. There was never any attempt to cause concern or up-sell throughout the whole project. They provided alternatives along with the pluses and minuses of each. They were great to work with. They came on time every day and stayed on budget with the estimate. They were true craftsmen taking pride in their work !! Lewis Team was a real problem solver. There were a lot of challenges to remodel an old basement like ours. They came up with many stable solutions to meet our needs for storage and children’s activity space. We are thrilled with the end result! That level of attention to detail is why I feel moved to share. Well earned 5-stars. Also, their price was very competitive. This company does it ALL! When we called to get a quote on few projects around our house we found out all other extra things they do. I was so impressed by the professionalism and quality work they do. We got our house waterproofed (had a private pool on the side of our house), few drains installed in ground, mudjacking (lifted our driveway and steps) and fixed our sump pump to drain correctly and more. Our foreman was extra awesome and they left the site clean as a whistle. We will definitely use them for our future projects and we already recommended them to our relatives. A1 is A+ in my book!

On the day of the estimate, I received a couple calls asking if they could show up 20 minutes before my appointment. I work nights and was sleeping, so I missed the calls. Since I didn't answer, rather than waiting 20 minutes, they blew me off and went on to do other estimates on the other side of town. They would try to come back 5+ hours after my original appt. When I called them out, I got a snarky email that kept mentioning I was sleeping . . . like I was some unemployed guy spending his days sleeping. Once again, I work nights . . . for a major radio prep service, so yes, I was sleeping. I got to bed at 5 am. And once again, they blew me off because I wasn't available BEFORE my appointment. If this is how they treat people while trying to earn business, then I can't imagine the headache of dealing with a warranty issue. It's their loss, every estimate I've received has been between $18,000 - $26,000.
