CleanBright Surface RestorationMatt was and his team were amazing! To begin with he responded to my voicemail within 5 minutes and said he would come look at my situation in 1 hour. He was there in the said 1 hour. He looked at the damage I had and said he would leave to go get men and equipment from another job and return in 1.5 hrs. And, again he returned in the promised amount of time. By the end of the afternoon all the wet carpet had been removed, furniture moved and mold discovered. He suggested a mold expert (I had no idea who to call), called him and set it up for him to contact me. Once the mold expert came and did his inspection and issued his report Matt and his team returned and followed the report to safely and appropriately remove all the moldy materials. After that work was done, several days of dehumidifiers running and a follow up onsite review and report by the mold expert giving the all clear Matt and his crew started rebuilding my basement. He had good suggestions and the work was completed to my wishes and satisfaction! I found Matt to be honest, trustworthy and committed to making my finished basement the way I wanted it. He stayed in constant touch via text with me and got back to me quickly answering and questions I had. After the initial disaster discovering my flood I felt very fortunate to have found CleanBright Surface Restoration because with 1 phone call they did it all. From soup to nuts as they say. We have used the services of 518 Remodel on two separate occasions. Their service and work have always been outstanding. In the fall of 2017 they added 8 feet to our garage and then built and outfitted a mudroom/ laundry room for us. This was an extensive project which required construction, excavation, paving, electrical, plumbing, painting, concrete and drywall work. All this work was completed to the highest standards. We again, hired this company in March 2021, to do some attic work and to retile 2 bathrooms. Here again we were fully satisfied and impressed with the jobs that were done for us. Sal, the owner, has subcontractors commence work in a timely manner, and he always returns your call and attends to all of the customers needs. This is truly an excellent full-service construction company that performs high quality work.

The inspection went wonderfully. Lucky for us the house we are about to close on was in very good shape. More importantly I learned many tips to look out for in the house about the roof, forced heat unit, radon mitigation system, electric box........ It took him longer to do his job because he was going into details with me about possible future issues. My husband had to work so I was very nervous and had a notebook to take notes for my husband. As it turned out, I did not need to. Dennis wrote all of it in his report, very thorough. As far as the mold issue, he was at my house 2 days following my call to him. He was early, as usual, and took the sample. I had 2 estimates for remediation (removing the mold safely, according to NY state rules) that were extremely high. He has several contacts in his line of work and was able to get me a mold remediation company that will do the work for half the money. There are not enough words to express how highly satisfied I am with Mr. Inside Out. As a side bar, he is also a very pleasurable person to talk with who has many life experiences to lend to his current work experiences. In his words, "it is not what you know it is who you know".
